Chapter 19

After Adnet pulled me in his house and started feeling me up he finally backed up.

"Come on dear" He smirked and led me to his room. Saying I wasn't scared was probably the biggest lie I would ever tell. Adnet is just horrible. I know he wants to get well in me. I know he wants to get back at Spot for what he did. But he needs to get over it. It was 5 years ago. If it were more current I would understand more. But it wasn't so I can't believe he still wants revenge.

"Darling do you know what happend to your darling Liam and me?" He whispered from behind me. I hadn't noticed he had moved behind me. Oh well.

"Yes I know. Of course I know. You ruined his life" I spat

"ME? Ruin his life? Oh honey no he ruined my life. Now tell me what you know had happend." He said pushing me onto the bed. He started to tie me down. Why? no clue but I kinda just went with it.

"Well for starters I know you kidnapped his little sister and brother. You threatend him money for his siblings. He hadm't the money to pay. You kept them for five years. Then when Spot didn't have the money by the due date you kidnapped him. You took him to your hide out and shot his siblings right infront of his face. Thats why he became so...so well heartless and ruthless. He had to do what he had to do to survive. He was the only one in his family still alive. His mother, she killed her self after Spot told her what had happend. You killed three people of all the same family. You're a sick bastard. Did you know that?" I spat out the last part.

"Well he did tell you everything. But im going to let someone you know come and talk to you. Have fun trying to explain everything to him'" He smirked and left.

He was bringing in Jayden. I know he will. I can't believe I just left him. I promised I would come back for him. But them I found Josh and well I had to make up some time with him. I sighed and shook my head. Soon after the door banged open and Jayden walked in. He looks so diffrent.

"Christine..." He said his voice breaking. He quickly came over and untied me from the bed.

"Jayden im sorry I didn't come back I found JOsh and I had to talk to him about some-" I was cut off as Jayden hugged me. On instinct I hugged him back.

"Its ok lil sis" He said and kissed my hair.

"Why have you got yourself mixed up in gangs? You are a lady and should not be with them." He smiled a crooked smile at me after releasing me from the hug.

"Well I may or may not be engaged to one of them." I spoke softly.

"Who? Is it that Spot Conlon punk? I heard nothing good about him." He spat out his name like it was posion.

"Yes it is and I love him! THe months ive been here he has made my life happy. He knows everything about me Jay. I love him" I explained to my older brother.

"Whatever, bye" He said in an icy cold tone. Getting up and leaving he slamed the door. I sighed there goes my other brother. He doesn't even know what happend to Josh. He may never if he is mad at me.

"You little bitch!" Adnet yelled and came in the room.

"Why the hell is my house surronded by your stupid Newsies gang?!" He yelled and slapped me across the face.

"Adnet! I swear I didn't know!" I cried and held my cheek. Ow. That little asshole.

"Get up" He grabbed my arm and took out a pistol pulling me to the front of the house and outside in front of all my friends. He pushed me to the floor and aimed the pistol at my head.

"Say bye Chirstine" He spat and cocked his gun. The only thing I was thinking then was the plan failed. They didn't wait for the signal they just went for it. All I know is that im going to die. IM going to be dead, I can't see Spot or Jayden, or Race, Jack, Specs, any of them anymore. I closed my eyes as I herd a gun shot. But it didn't hit me. I opened my eyes and saw Jayden standing there with a gun in his hand and pointed where Adnet had been standing seconds ago.
