Summer's POV

I slam my front door shut. My red sneakers hit the paved road, running as fast as I could. It's the last time I'm ever going to be here. The last time I'll eve be on Raven Coast Ave. Kai meets me at our usual spot. The wheels of our suitcases crunch the grass in synch. "I'm so ready for this," Kai states. I look at his eyes, glistening in the sins bright rays. They look so... so... gorgeous. I shake my curly brown hair on my head, trying to get rid of the strange thought. I nod at his statement and stand up while brushing the grass off of my blue shorts. Considering its getting a bit hot, I wrap my hoodie around my waist. "Let us march ahead," I yell dramatically while running down the glazed green hill below me. Kai chuckles and follows my lead. We end up at his car. A jeep, perfect for the hard journey ahead of us. I set all of my stuff in the trunk. Looking over to my house, I smile. Not because I miss it though, that's really the exact opposite of why I'm smiling. The walls keeping in the horrors and monstrosity in my own home. The way I'm describing it right now you would think I'm talking about an insane facility. I lightly chuckle at my thoughts and open the door to Kai's car. I sit and buckle in while Kai's still putting away his suitcase. "SUMMER!" I hear a farm iliac voice yell. Kai's and i's ears perk up. "KAI WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!" Kai's mad i's fathers come running out at the same time. They grimace at each other as they jog towards us. "GO KAI GO!!" I scream. Kai puts his keys in and stores on the pedal. We hear the sound of footsteps behind the vehicle, even though I knew what it was I turned around. Then I said something I never thought I would say, "I HATE YOU BOTH!" I scream at them. My dad's eyes go wide and he runs faster, trying to catch up. Kai laughs and sticks his tinge out to them. He drives faster and soon, they're out of eye sight.
