"Yes, I would like to attend my classes." I played along with my brother's stupid excuse.

"Okay then, but remember I do not need your ex coming here and creating a drama. Anyways, this school is no less in creating many. I do not need more responsibilities on my head." She muttered the last part to mostly herself, but we heard it.

I glared at her, but she still didn't look up.

"Yes, of course. the guy has been taken care of already." My brother replied as he gave her a charming smile. She looked up and gave him a smile back.

I wanted to kill my brother right there and then. He was flirting with my school's principal and she was too. Of course, how can a women not be charmed by my brother's charisma as well as his hotness.

I coughed to snap their small, but flirty interaction and glared at my brother. As always he ignored it and I crossed my arms.

"Can I have my books and schedule now. I am getting late!" I snapped at her while tapping my foot against the floor impatiently. It was my way of saying, I was annoyed. Very badly.

My brother noticed and scoffed. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Oh right! I'll give them to you." She replied, not at all affected by my snapping and got up from her seat. She moved around the room until she finally had the right items and handed them to me. I snatched them from her hands and walked out, not even thanking her.

I knew it was rude, but I was super pissed because of many unidentified reasons.

I still had many more embarrassing times to get through, right now was one of them.

My brother came running out of the principal's room and caught up with me as I was already heading towards my locker. I was sure he got her number without him even asking for it.

Without even me noticing it, he suddenly gripped my hand in his and I stopped in my tracks.

What the hell was he doing now?

I glared at him.

"Riley, come on!" He said and started to rush me towards my locker, but I planted my feet on the floor and refused to walk.

He looked back at me and quirked an eyebrow.

"Seriously?" I said looking down at our conjoined hands.

"So what? You are my sister and do not forget I had a hand in changing your diapers when you were young!" He said it out loud and I swear I heard nearby students snicker as I snatched my hand from his grip and fast walked towards my locker.

He was embarrassing me to no end and I was most likely to do the same to him soon.

But for now I had to get out of this sticky situation and had to get rid of my overprotective brother.

I reached my locker and entered the passcode. Soon I was putting in my unwanted books and keeping the ones I needed in my bag. The hallway was silent as the classes had already started and I was still having difficulty wrapping my head around the fact that I was in highschool now.

My brother stood silently as he watched me fumble with my books. Finally, when I was done I slammed the locker shut and looked at my schedule. First was Math. Great, just what I needed.

"What is it?" He asked and I showed him my schedule. I was giving him the silent treatment. It was working until I started walking towards my class and he followed behind.

"Why are you following me now?"I asked without stopping.

"I'm leaving you to your class." He stated as he followed behind.
