3. Transformation

Eren woke up the next morning, he ran his fingers across the bite. Levi was already up in the kitchen. Eren slipped on his boots, making the bed, and heads downstairs. Levi looked up at him.

"Hey Levi."

"Morning Eren."

Eren smiled. "I'm gonna head into town. I'll be back in a bit."

"Alright. Be careful." Levi said, sitting down with a book in his hands.

"I will." Eren said and heads off.

Levi smiled. Eren stayed quiet and walked in the door to the store. Levi continued to read.

Eren felt uneasy. Levi stood up, the book in his hands, as he walked to the kitchen. Eren soon got what he needed and heads back. Levi grabs a jar filled with a red liquid.

Eren heads inside and Levi looked up at him. Eren meet his eyes, feeling uneasy.

Levi got up. "What's wrong, Eren?"

"I think some people saw the mark..." Eren replied.

Levi walked over and pulled him into a hug. "I'm sorry..."

Eren hugged him back. "It's fine, Levi..you had to do what you had to do..I understand."

Levi nods and hugs him closer. Eren listened to his heartbeat. Levi smiled and rubbed his back. Eren smiled.

"Did you get everything you needed?"

Eren nods.

"Good."

Eren smiled.

"Want me to help you put it up?"

"Sure."

Levi nods. Eren nods, pulling away from the hug. Levi walked over and grabbed the bags. Eren helped him out. Levi soon had finished putting everything away.

Eren smiled. "Thanks Levi."

"You're welcome."

Eren smiled. "I'm gonna take a nap, I'll see later in a few Levi."

"Alright."

Eren smiled before heading upstairs, he walked in the room, sliding his boots off before falling asleep on the bed. Levi smiled and sat on the couch, reading a book.

After awhile, Eren woke up, something burning his throat, he got up and fumbled down the stairs. Levi quickly stood up, walking to the stairs and looking up at Eren.

"E-eren? You ok?"

Eren shook his head, leaning against the rail, he clawed at his throat.

Levi walked closer to him and placed his hand on his throat.

"Eren does it burn?"

Eren nods, his eyes go wide when he felt something poke his lip.

Levi's eyes widened, he pulled his shirt down.

"You need blood."

Eren walked over to him, placing his hands on his shoulders before sinking his new "teeth" into his neck. Levi tilted his head, closing his eyes as he sighed.

Eren felt weak...he pulled away before falling unconscious against Levi. Levi held onto him, picking him up gently and walked back upstairs to the room and laid him in the bed.
