8. Silence

After a few weeks or so, Eren woke up early in the morning, he looked over at Levi and saw the smaller vampire soundly asleep, he sat up a little and rubbed his neck. He closed his eyes tightly as a burning sensation burned his throat. Levi woke up and looked over at Eren.

"Eren, what's wrong?" Levi asked.

Eren opened his eyes and looked at him.

Levi sat up and pulled Eren close to him, tilting his head to the side for Eren.

Eren gulped and looked at Levi. Levi looked at him and gave a slight nod. Eren places his hands on his shoulders before sinking his fangs into his neck. Levi winced a little, but gently placed his hand on his back.

After awhile, Eren pulled away from Levi's neck, he looked at him. Levi looked at him as well, he tilted his head a little.

"Eren, how come you're not talking? It's unlike you to do this."

Eren shrugged. Levi got up and picked him up carefully, carrying Eren to the bathroom.

After awhile, Eren and Levi were finished the bathroom, Hanji tackled Levi, who stumbled back.

"Four eyes!" Levi was surprised.

Eren backed away a little.

Levi got out of her grasp and walked over to Eren.

"Aw, shortie, I see you found yourself a mate!"

Levi glared at her but placed his hand on Eren's shoulder. "Yes, but something's wrong, Eren won't talk."

Eren waved as Hanji nods, she waved back. "Let me think.."

After awhile, Levi was getting impatient, Hanji just now thought of something.

"What if it was Erwin? Yes, you defeated him, but what he used a spell?"

Levi gave a low growl. "No doubt he did and since Eren's pregnant..."

Hanji nods.

Levi looked at Eren. "Eren, when you heard his voice, did it sound like a spell? Nod you're head once for yes, and two no."

Eren nods his head once.

Hanji nods. "You know what that means, right Levi?"

Levi nods.

"We'll have to do it and soon. If we don't go soon, Eren and the child could die."

Levi nods. "Right."

Eren's hand tighten its grip on Levi's shoulder. He didn't want him to go. Levi looked at him as Hanji worked on hers and Levi's mask. He smiled softly and pulled Eren into a hug.

"I'll be back soon, Eren. Hanji's guards will protect you. I promise." Levi rubbed his back and placed a soft kiss on his forehead, before pulling away.

Hanji tossed Levi a mask that was black with silver and gold markings.

Eren gave a small hug to Levi from behind.
Levi smiled and gave a small hug back to Eren before putting on the mask.

Hanji made a portal and puts on her mask before heading in. Levi followed her. Eren smiled softly as the portal closed, he then walked downstairs as he met Hanji's guards and knew exactly who they were.
