"Alrighty and we are back. See you tomorrow." Matthew grinned as he stopped in my driveway, there was another anonymous car there. It was also strange for my mother to be home.

"See you." I smiled back at him and walked through the door. I don't know if I forgot anything so I looked back, but he was already gone. I stood for a second to think, I really felt empty-handed.

Oh.

I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry!!!!! I frgot my suit in your car!

He wasn't answering, so I impatiently waited for the reply. My heart was jumping out of my chest, and I was shaking too intensely I couldn't take it. I feel sick... I might puke.

"Henri! Henri!" Why was someone yelling out my name? I was at home, so it should be fairly quiet?

I looked up, and looked around. Why on earth was I in bed? How did I get in bed? There was little noise downstairs, as I stood up. My phone was on top of my laptop which was strange, I would never put the two together. I took a look at it and seen Matthew replied back a while ago.

Haha nice typo man. Its cool anyway, I'll bring it by tomorrow

Sound good?

Earth to Henri--- Did you die? Just a joke man, just a joke before you freak.

Just reply back later, guess your busy?

I grinned reading through the messages, I had no idea he'd be concerned like that for me. It actually made me extremely happy. I thought of what to send back, and then debated over if I should send it or not. Why was I so nervous?

I wasn't busy I just fell unconscious

Send! Ding!

Dude! You serious, you sound so blunt about it. You okay?

Yeah I'm fine.

You coulda killed me right there at the least, falling out wow.

Sorry hehe

Nah its cool. I'll just bring the suits over tomorrow is that ok?

Yeah its fine.

Alright then goodnight, I'm tired as hell.

Haha goodnight.

I looked at the time and realized it was way past one in the morning! Was Matthew waiting  up for me? No, it was probably just a coincidence. Why would he do something like that if he was tired?

I slowly opened the door, and he creak echoed down the stairs. I wanted to be quiet in case my mom was still there. Probably not. I glided down the stairs as inaudible as I could, but the last stair creaked and made me freeze with surprise. I've used these stairs for years, and I'm just now finally knowing how loud they are. I seen a foot hang off the couch, wondering if it was my mother, I looked.

Jason! Why was Jason here? Why could I never get away from him? It was as if he was everywhere I go, not even as if, he is! Holding back my words, I stepped back quietly, and tried to suppress my terrified heart. How did he even get in my house? It was most likely my mother, she always enjoyed his company, so that would make the most sense.

"Phew." I took a deep breath to calm myself before hurrying up the stairs to sleep. There was no reason for me to stay awake at one in the morning, especially when I had things to do. It only made me more anxious while thinking of the day awaiting me.

Ding dong!

The loud ringing of the doorbell woke me up late the next day. It was past noon, which wasn't the latest I've ever woken up, but with Jason in my house  I should've woken up earlier than him. I rushed down the stairs to see who it was before Jason answered the door, but surprisingly he was still asleep. I looked out and seen Matthew's car in the driveway.

"Matthew." I opened the door and whispered with a smile. Immediately he pointed, confused, at the sight of Jason.

"No way." He whispered and chuckled. I only shrugged my shoulders and tried to not make a lot of noise while laughing.

"Who'd would have ever thought, the great Wattson left his suit in my car." Matthew teased as we went up to my room.

"I-It was an accident."

"I know." The childish grin remained on his face.

"Today we'll be busy, we'll arrive at the dance on time. Leave early, head over to fireworks, and carry on from there." I hadn't ever had a scheduled like this planned out before, it was amazing in fact.

"Wow."

"I know. So let's get started." Matthew clapped his hands together.

"It-it's only two."

"The dance is at five, we leave around seven or eight. The fireworks are around ten. We gotta do this in style."

"Style?"

"Style."

I could only laugh at the way he was enthusiastic about being stylish today. He usually wore dark clothes however he wanted to. He brought me out to his car, our suits still there. He claimed we were going through how professionals get ready, when in all reality we spent an hour in the dollar store getting junk foods. It was fun.

"Here, I liked the way I did your hair yesterday, you mind?" He patted down a spot on his car for me to sit at.

"N-not at all." I've never paid attention to how I should look, but it was nice Matthew even offered.

By the time we arrived at the dance, people were somewhat crowded at the door so we decided to wait. It was the last dance for all of the grades, and I figured since I never wanted to go to prom, it was my first and last. The cool air blew through my hair as the door line went down, so many people put a lot of effort into their outfits.

"Ready to go in?" Matthew whistled seeing how fast everyone went in.

"I-I don't know." The sight made me a bit queasy.

"It'll be fun, trust me." He smiled and we started for the door, I really hop I could trust him with his one.
