Chapter Five

Its been about 2 days since we left Atlanta and I was just leaving dance practice on my way to my dorm room so I could take a nap until I bumped into someone.
"Wassup Tatyana", I looked up and it was Aaron, "oh hey, what are you doing here ?" I asked "Came by to visit Briana" he said looking me up and down. "Oh well that's nice, I'm heading back to my room, so I'll talk to you later." I started to walk away when he said,"I came by to see you too, Bri told me where you were and I saw you dancing. You looked good." he said walking toward me, "Um, thanks.." we stood there awkwardly for a minute. "Do you want to hang out today ? I can take you out to eat if, you know, that's cool with you" He smiled
"Um sure, just let me just drop my stuff off, I don't mind keeping these clothes on." His smile got a little more bigger, that's how I knew his ego was getting high.
We started walking toward my dorm in comfortable silence. I walked to my room and drip my bags off and grabbed my wallet and phone and we headed to teriyaki 101.
We pulled up and he got out before I did and opened the door for me. "Alright you a gentlemen, I see you." I said laughing,"My mama taught me well" he said laughing as we started to head inside. We order our food and had a little argument about who was paying but I let him win and he paid. We got our food and sat down.
"So tell me about yourself." He said, "Well what do you want to know ?" "It down at matter as long as I hear your voice, I'm willing to listen to anything." Don't know why but when he said that it made me blush. "Well I'm 18 about to turn 19 pretty soon. I'm a business major in college, I do dance and on the step team. That's all for now." I said taking a bite of my teriyaki bowl.
"What no boyfriend?" he asked curiously. "No, I was in a relationship, but --" my words started to slow down and he started to realize I didn't really want to talk about it,"Nevermind that's none of my business." "Yeah, thanks didn't really want to get too deep with that." He just nodded.
It started to get a little awkward and I was started to feel a little uncomfortable until he started making jokes, making me laugh, calling me beautiful and keeping up a conversation.
We were in there for about two and a half hours just talking. When we were leaving, I felt someone watching me, I turned and saw Curtis.
My heart stopped and started to ache when I saw him holding hands with another female. I looked away, "Tatyana, what's wrong?" "Nothing is wrong, why would you ask me that?" I said getting comfortable in the car, "because you're crying baby girl." he said wiping my face. I stayed quiet, "You know that dude?" I just nodded. "Did he hurt you or something? Do I need to go beat his ass?" "no, he's my just my ex.." I whispered
