The New Girl

Ren's POV
I was sitting in my corner of boredom. Yes it still exists, it's been a few months since I started at Ouran. I haven't made many friends outside of the host club but that was going to change!

I sat on the stool in my corner and started to think of how to make friends. "Ren~Chan? What are you doing?" I heard Honey say as he walked up to my corner.

"I'm thinking of ways to make new friends." I say. Honey frowns.

"But I'm your friend! And so is Usa~Chan and the whole host club!" He said.

"I know Honey and I'm happy that you're my friends but in some of my classes you guys aren't there and I feel alone. I don't want to be alone anymore." I say looking at Honey who now has tears in his eyes.

"I don't want Ren~Chan to be alone either!" Honey said giving me a hug. Mori walked up to us and Honey ran to him hugging his leg. "Takashi!!! We have to help Ren! She's all alone!!" He said Crying and hugging his bunny.

Mori looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. Honey hugged me again and Mori hugged me to. I felt squished. "Group hug!!!" The twins said hugging me and squishing me even more. They pulled Haruhi into the hug and Tamaki joined to. I couldn't breath.

"Guys! I-I cant breathe!!!" I said. They all let go of me. I gasped for air and fell to my knees. "Who knew hugs could be so deadly!" I said standing up.

Soon the guests started to arrive. The hosts went to entertain and I was left alone... again. Kyoya put me in charge of the maintenance stuff like refilling the cake supply and cleaning stuff up. It was boring, I'd rather talk to the other girls, Maybe Then I could make some friends.

I was going to leave the music room to grab some things when I saw a girl by the door. She wasnt coming in, she was just looking. No one seemed to notice her so I walked towards the door to talk to her.

   She was a tall girl with long blonde hair, her hair was pink on the ends as well. She has blue green eyes behind dark blue glasses. She saw me come up to her and she hid behind the door. I snuck through the door crack and was now in the hall way.

"You don't have to come out here.... you can just go back inside.." she says starting to walk off.

"Hey!! Wait!" I say. She stopped in her tracks and looked at me. "What's you're name?" I ask walking a bit closer to her.

She looked at the ground then back at me. "Opal... Opal Martin..." she says. I smile at her.

"Well hello Opal! I'm Ren Ootori!" I say beaming at her. She smiles back. I notice that she has a necklace. It had a charm that looked like a Clover. "Can I call you Clover?" I ask. She looks at me and nods.

"My parents call me Clover." She says."My parents call me a disgrace." I say laughing a bit, She laughs too.

We start to talk about who her parents were and where she moved from. Turns out her parents own many bakerys in France. They created a large company out of it and came to Japan to sign a business deal. She's an only child and loves to joke around. I think I made a new friend!!!!

~Time skip~

I realized the time and stood up. We were sitting on the side of the hallway outside the music room. I saw a some girls leaving the room.

"Hey Clover? Did you want to go to the host club?" I ask. She looks at me and blushed a bit and nodded shyly. I smile and take her hand. I open the door and saw a very angry Tamaki standing in front of me.

"Where have you been? You had daddy worried sick!" He says hugging me. "Umm your highness since when were you my father?" I ask in a sarcastic tone.

"Since your father doesn't appreciate you! So I took his place as your father and I will always support you!" Tamaki said in a dramatic tone. I rolled my eyes. Tamaki then noticed Clover.

He came to her and kissed her hand. "And who might you be my darling?" He asked looking into her eyes. I saw Clover blush.

"This is Opal Martin, She's new." I said. Kyoya was about to tell everyone all her information as he always does with new girls but I kicked him in the shin before he could.

"Opal, what a lovely name for a gem such as yourself." Tamaki said as he cupped her cheek and smiled.

"Oh quit it with the sappy stuff you're making her uncomfortable." I said as I took Clover from his grasp. Tamaki started to pout. I pointed to his emo corner and he slowly walked there.

"Now that you're not being pampered by the king, how about you meet the other hosts?" I say showing Clover around. While I introduced Clover to Haruhi the twins came up behind her.

"Hey Opal? Wanna play a game?" The pair asks. I notice this and before she answers I grab her and shove her away. "Aw come on Ren we just wanted to play with her!" The twins whined.

"Yeah Like I'm going to let my friend play a game with you two!" I said sarcastically. I began to fight with the twins.

Clover's POV
I was shoved away by Ren and I tripped. I was so confused. First I was charmed by that blonde guy the next thing I knew I was meeting new people and shoved to the side. Well there's the story of my life I guess.

I tripped on my dress and excepted to fall but instead i was caught. I open my eyes and see a tall black haired guy. He was looking at me but had an emotionless expression on his face. I felt my self turn a deep shade of red. I looked into his eyes. He looked into my surprisingly and i think I saw him smile.

Ren's POV
I stopped fighting with the twins and see Clover in Mori's arms. I smile. I think Clover found a host she likes. Honey was about to walk over to them but I stopped him. "Ren~chan why did you stop me?" He whispered.

"Let them have their moment." I say fan girling inside.

Clover's POV
The boy put me down and smiled again before walking away. I was speechless, I turn to see Ren looking like she was about to explode. "Hehe soooooo do you like the club?" She asks in a teasing kind of way. I blush. Ren continues to fan girl. I let her have her moment. This has been a strange first day at Ouran.

It's over! Wow that was a long chapter! Anyway I decided to start this because I loved the character of Ren and I wanted to add into her story. Also the character of Clover is based off of one my friends and biggest supporters Violetflower1416 she has been so supportive and has been giving me advice on this since before I even joined Wattpad.
