SCOUT PAXTON USED TO BE A NORMAL GIRL. She loved to draw and read and was more than ecstatic about entering ninth grade. She was planning on having a smooth-sailing high school career, but all of that changed on June fourteenth.

What followed the attack of Barracuda was something out of Scout's worst nightmare. Her parents were gone, the man who killed them without prosecution, and she now has newfound abilities that are neither a blessing nor a curse.

She uses her powers to help keep New York safe, dressing in a wet suit and homemade mask, going by the name of The Electric Siren. She learns to love protecting the people, but balancing her secret life on top of being a student isn't exactly a walk in the park. A new hero soon arises alongside her, calling himself Spider-Man, and the two quickly begin to work together, making an unstoppable crime-fighting friendship. Meanwhile at school, Scout finds herself falling for a particular geeky boy named Peter Parker, and little does she know that he is the same vigilante she meets up with every night.
