Christine's POV:
I'm quietly flipping through the script for my character in our school play when a smaller boy my age comes into the auditorium. 'I don't remember him?' I think as Mr Reyes inspects the extra child. He has a small one on one meeting with him and skips into stage all giddy. "Welcome our new thespian, their name is (y/n), they will be an understudy for puck. Ms.Canigula, will you please help them out with lines, for if you cannot preform, they will fill in for you and we need to be in tip top shape for emergency cases like such." He then belched out another prolonged note. I watched as a nervous boy came walking over to me, sitting in the other side of me since Jeremy was on one side. "H-hi, I'm (y/n)..." They said nervously. "Umh.....what pronouns do you prefer?" I asked, since the teacher referred to him as "them". "Thanks for asking, I prefer either they/them or he/him. I was hoping I wouldn't get picked on.......see because I did this just recently.....and i-its" "you don't need to explain yourself like your life depends on it. Let's get to lines,(y/n). If you want we can grab so yogurt at pinkberry?" I said warmly to the boy. They smiled brightly."I would love to!" And we began to cover lines.
