Chapter 13

I wake in a panic.

" Help!" I scream and Jesy runs in with two nurses.

" Kylie?" Jesy sounds like she woke from the same dream.

" I am fine. What happened?" I ask.

" You blacked out and Jade and I took you to the E.R. but are you okay, you woke up screaming." Jesy says.

" I'm fine. It was just a bad dream." I can't shake the memory.

* Dream*

" Please! Stop I can't help it!" I scream to a man.

He wears a total black outfit. Even his face is covered.

" No!" He shouts and continues to walk toward me.

" Please I'm innocent!" I scream.

" I know!" He shouts his choice becoming very loud.

" Help!" I scream, but all my voice does is echo.

" Help! Help!" I continue only to hear myself in return.

" Get ready, you dying tonight." the man booms and he is close enough it sounds like he is in my ear.

That's when I run, but fail.

The gun goes off, and I fall.

* End of Dream*

" Kylie?" Jesy's voice echoes in my ears.

I can't respond. Who is this man that tried to kill me- did kill me. Why do I have dreams this way? What is it telling me?

" Kylie?" Jesy's says once more and I finally snap out of it.

" Yea?" I say I sound panicky.

" The big concerts tonight. The nurse said you could go home. Do you still want to go?" She asks and I am immediately out of the bed I snatch my clothes from the chair by the bathroom.

I squeeze into the tiny bathroom and manage to get my clothes on.

I tie my hair in a messy bun once again.

" What time is it Jes?" I ask once I leave the bathroom.

" Uhm, 7:53." She says.

" What? Your concert is literally in thirty minutes come on!" I panic.

" No we pushed it back a little bit, it's not til nine." She says smiling.

" Do all of your fans know?" I ask sitting on the hospital bed.

" They know it's pushed back, but they don't know your the cause of it." She says her smile fading.

" What do they think is going on?" I can't help but ask that I really am curious.

" Come to think of it, I'm not sure." She says and a puzzled look appears on her face.

" How about we head home so you can get ready." She says and the puzzled look is replaced by a little smile.

" Okay." I say and she is already out the door.

As soon as we get home, I run for my room. Jesy got all call from someone who I couldn't make out over the phone so she goes for the kitchen and her voice echos through the tall ceilings.

" Yea.......o yes everything went well........no it's alright........Okay........bye!" When she gets off the phone I can hear her feet coming up the stairs.

" Kylie! The limo will be here in ten minutes!" She calls and I hear her bedroom door close.

After my eavesdropping session, I immediately begin my dress up.

I slip on my crop-top sleeve shirt with Little Mixes symbol on it. And some blue coloured shorts,with my bright pink converse. Name a colour of Converse, I have it.

I beach-wave the ends of my dark red hair, and put a s bit of make up on.

And not long after I finish, the limo driver arrives.

"Jes!" I call when I reach the front door.

She comes out with her hair all done, but no makeup or nice outfits on.

" Where is your fancy get up that you usually wear?" I ask as she reaches me and opens the front door.

" LeAnn has a surprise that includes our outfits, and she said to come in casual clothing." Jesy says and locks the front door.

" What about your make-up?" I ask and the driver opens the door for Jesy and I.

" That will be done backstage too." She responds.

She pulls her phone when the limo begins to drive off. I watch the house disappear from my sight. At night, our neighborhood looks like the scene of a scary movie. Just like Jesy I pull my phone out when I can no longer see the house. I pull my beanie over my ears to help warm them.I smooth out my hair and plug in my earphones. I listen to 'Midnight City' by M83.(I swear if you don't know them, you have been living under a rock) I close my eyes and imagine what life will be like after tonight.......
