Chapter 12

" Jes?" I say.

I wake up on the couch with the sun shining bright in my face. I look around and no one else is in sight.

" Per?" I ask this time getting up off the couch.

Where were they? Were they still sleeping? I look over and see a note on the kitchen bar.

It read:' Dear Ky,

We have gone to do a few things this morning(I worn list them) But we will be back in a few hours.

Well I was here alone. What to do. Well first things on my list, is eating.

" Hey Kylie!" Niall says walking through the door.

" How did you get in here?" I ask

" Jesy gave me a key. So what do you usually do when your home?" He asks, and of course goes to the kitchen.

" Normal teenage stuff.." I say

" Like......" he pushes.

" we went over this last night." I state and go to the couch.

" Do you do anything else?" He asks.

" I don't talk about the others."I state, and regret it.

" What's the others?" He pushes I swear I'm going to murder him.

" I just said, I don't talk about that stuff." I say rudely and march off to the couch.

" Alright, alright. What do you want to do?" He asks joining me on the couch and turning on the tv.

" Didnt you guys say your in a band?" I ask.

" Yea. One Direction. Have you heard us?" He asks, taking a few chips out of the bag and shoving them in his mouth.

" Nope." I state popping the p.

" Really?!" He says eyes wide with a few chip crumbles falling out of his mouth.

" No." I say again.

" One second!" He says finishing off the mouthful of chips.

" What are you doing?" I ask.

" Okay watch." He says and hands me his phone.

" What's this?" I ask taking the phone.

" It's one of our music video's. Just watch." He says shoving more chips in his mouth.

" Ok."  And I  begin to watch.

I hit the play button and a familiar song begins.....

" Kylie?" I hear Niall's voice flow through my ears.

" Kylie?" He says again.

" Huh?" Is all I can manage.

" You okay?" He asks.

" Ye-yea." I say and realize, I'm on the couch. Did I fall asleep?

" Okay, wow you were out like a light." He says getting up from his spot on the floor.

" I'm gonna head out bye Ky!" He says grabs his phone and jacket and leaves.

I decide to check my phone for a time.

4:34.

Where was Jes?

I decide to text her make sure she's alright.

Jesy: Hey u doing okay?

Not too long after I send the text, Jes replies.

Jesy: Yes, we will be home here soon.

I walk upstairs to my bedroom, and to put my hair up in a bun. It's been down and un-brushed today, so this is somthing that literally takes a minute.

I decide on a t-shirt that says 'Snap! make the change'

on it from this church camp that my friend Lyla invited me to.(Don't judge her I know it's 4:30 in the afternoon, still she could get ready!)

I get downstairs just as the front door opens and reveals Jade and Jesy.

" Jade!" I exclaim.

" Kylie!" She exclaims back.

She runs over to hug me tight and for a long time.

" Okay okay let's make sure she's still breathing." Jesy jokes as we pull away.

" Where's my hug?" Jesy asks and I immediately hug her.

" So today is the big day!" Jade states.

I totally forgot. Today is the day that they leave for tour. They have one concert tonight, then they leave afterwards. I will move in with Niall, Zayn, and the others I can't remember. It came so fast. A little too fast for me.

" Your right." Jesy states and walks toward the hallway.

" I have to call the boys and see if they can help with Kylie's bags, I will be back in a sec!" She calls and disappears upstairs now it's just me and Jade.

" So big girl," she begins but I really don't want to talk," how are things with you and the kid, uhm, Dalton right?" She asks and then I want to throw a lamp at the wall.

" Fine." I bare. I seriously don't want to talk about him.

" Okay, how are you and Lyla? You guys still not talking?" She asks. I haven't talked to Lyla since our big fight and year back.

I could remember, every word she said, every face she made. She was my best friend in the whole world and then I met Dalton after the fight.

Now I want to cry as the memories flood through my brain.

*Flashback*

" I can't believe you!" Lyla shakes her head anger clear to her.

" I wanted to get our band good! and face it she's amazing!" I try but don't help.

" I didn't want new band members for this exact reason!" She shouts and stomps toward a wall and begins banging her head on it.

" Fine! I will kick her out Lyla!" I shout.

" That doesn't cut it Kylie! You went behind my back and performed in the talent show as ' Sneakered Sweeties' that was my name I came up with it!" She screams and storms out.

Now what was I supposed to do?

*Flashback over*

" Kylie are you okay?" Jade asks but the room goes dark before I knew it.
