Chapter 6

"W-what?"

"You heard me. I don't accept your rejection take back. You've made me realize that i deserve better than you. I know exactly why you take back rejection. And it's not because you 'love' me." I said

"Huh?"

"You want me back because Im not the weak little nerd that couldn't hurt a fly and a feather could defeat. I'm stronger than I used to be. Mentally and physically." I said

"What?! No that's not it at all!" Cody said

"Yeah. Riiigghhtttt. I need to be leaving now. Bye" I said bitterly. I know I know a little rude and arrogant and overreactive but hey it's all part of the plan.

With that I used my werewolf super speed and ran home in a flash.

Being me, i forgot my house keys on the kitchen table this morning so I used the vine trellis and climbed up to the roof to my bedroom window and climbed in.

I looked at the clock. 8:25 PM. However, I was exhausted. I plopped down on my bed and fell asleep, not even bothering to shut my window.

I was awoken by a poking in my side.

"Ugh what so you want" I said not even opening my eyes considering I was still half asleep.

"Wake up"

I lazily opened my eyes and guess who I saw?

Cody.

"Cody?! What are you doing here?!" I whispered

"I'm sorry. I just really needed to see you." He said

"Why?! It's 3:00 in the morning!" I was getting annoyed "and how'd you get in here?"

"Well for starters, I missed you. And the windows open." He said in a-matter-of-factly voice.

"Too bad you can see me in school. Now get out of my room before I throw you out." I warned.

"Awe how cute you think you can force me away. Sorry, sweet thing, I'm staying here."

"I will get my father in here"

"I'd like to see you try."

"DA-" I started before he cut me off

"Ok fine you win. But can I stay a bit longer? I mean we literally just started talking!" Cody pleaded.

"Ugh! Fine I guess. Only for a little ok."

"I can't make any promises"

"Really? Hmm I wonder what my dad would think of that. Maybe I should ask him?"

"No! Fine I will only stay for an hour max"

"30 minutes?" I asked

"No. And hour."

"I guess" I said. It was obvious I wasn't getting anywhere with this.

"Yay!" Cody said

He's like a 4 year old when it comes to me. It's kinda cute when you think about it.

"Shh! Don't squeak like that it you'll get caught. And you don't want that do you?"

"No. Sorry"
