song of the chapter: ffyl - quinn xxii

"anthony, bro, you really shouldn't drink another one." chance suggested as anthony threw back another shot of tequila, chasing it with another shot of tequila.

"i'm fine, dude." anthony slurred, wiping the excess drops of alcohol off his face.

chance sat on the countertop, watching anthony stumble all over the house mumbling gibberish to himself angrily.

"why am i single?" anthony grumbled, stopping abruptly in his tracks.

"maybe it's the third testicle?" chance shrugged.

"yeah, maybe." anthony sighed, hopping up on the counter next to chance.

"wait. i don't have a-" anthony cut himself off punching chance in the arm.

"martinez!" chance greeted quickly, changing the subject as the two small twins walked into the kitchen.

anthony sat quietly fiddling on his phone, trying to decide who he's going to send a cheesy pick up line to tonight.

"put the phone down." chance shouted from across the room, knowing exactly what anthony was doing.

"one second." anthony nodded.

"tessa is bringing back a few friends." ivan smirked, nudging anthony's shoulder.

"that's who i'll text!" anthony whispered to himself.

anthony:
yooo
                                         tessa:
                                      tonerrrrr
anthony:
are you from africa?
                                       tessa:
                                   um no? lol
anthony:
bc ur a frican' babe
                                        tessa:
                  are you drunk again?
anthony:
i'm not drunk, i'm just intoxicated by you
                                        tessa:
                       i'll be home in ten
                    minutes, get ready
to get a fist to
the face :-)))

anthony laughed quietly reading the messages he just exchanged with tessa.

"natalie is coming over with tessa tonight." emilio wiggled his eyebrows up and down as the boys gathered around in the kitchen talking of hookups and such.

anthony soon got lost reading past text messages between him and tessa when he was interrupted by chance.

"ooh, anthony's got a crush! who is she?" chance questioned, trying to peep at anthony's phone.

"get it in!" the twins cheered simultaneously.

anthony rolled his eyes in response, considering he would much rather go on a date with tessa than a quick hookup.

"you have to tell me who she is." chance urged.

"would you judge me if i told you it was-" anthony quickly got cut off.

"TESSAAAA" emilio cheered as tessa and her three friends walked in.

"exactly." anthony mumbled to himself.

"the dude to girl ratio is off." chance frowned.

"four dudes, four girls. where's the problem?" anthony spoke up, observing the girls making their way to the kitchen.

"tessa doesn't count. guess you're the odd one out, my dude." chance chuckled.

chance and the twins sat guided the three girls outside to see the backyard, leaving tessa and anthony in the now vacant house.

"guess it's just us, mr. cheeseball." tessa smiled, taking a seat on the counter.

"at least you're not calling me toner." anthony chuckled.

"you're not cute." tessa joked.

"you're right. we're cute." anthony's smile grew wider.

tessa immediately became self conscious when she noticed anthony looking at her for a little longer than expected. she began to flip her hair to the other side.

"i like it that way." anthony spoke softly, moving the small piece of hair out of her face.

"anthony, come play basketball!" chance shouted, opening the door.

anthony quickly moved his hand away "be right there."

"we should go." tessa spoke as a smile grew on her face.

anthony agreed, grabbing a water from the fridge.

"y'know, you should text me sometime when you're not heavily intoxicated." tessa smiled, closing the door, joining everyone in the backyard.

[...]

"that's a foul!" ivan shouted, demanding the ball back.

"that's not called a foul, its called bullshit." anthony laughed tossing the ball, coincidentally bouncing off of tessa's rear end.

"you could've bought me dinner first." tessa turned around, pretending to be offended.

[...]

"what's up, dude? where's natalie?" anthony questioned as chance entered their room alone.

"she just wanted to meet jake." chance scoffed.

"i'm glad they went to dinner." anthony laughed to himself.

"what's got you in such a good mood? dream girl?" chance questioned, plopping down on his bed.

"yeah. i guess you could say that." anthony smiled, thinking about tessa again.

"when do i get to meet this unknown girl?"

anthony sighed pulling his hoodie over his face.

"is she ugly?" chance asked, peering over at tony burying himself in his blanket.

"she has the prettiest smile, dude, i can't get enough of seeing that shit. don't even get me started on her eyes." anthony babbled on.

"you're already whipped." chance chuckled, being hit with a pillow for his remark.

"i'm not whipped." anthony retorted, pulling his phone out.

anthony: gn t

tessa:
gn toner 💖🐻

anthony closed his phone and smiled at the use of the cute emojis.

"dude, you are SO whipped." chance shook his head.
