song of the chapter: for you - gavin james

"anthony, it's your turn!" jake shouted, pointing the camera towards anthony.

anthony hesitantly made his way to the wheel labeled with everyone's name in the house.

"c'mon anthony, it's just a kiss." chance encouraged him.

anthony nodded, placing his hand on top of the wheel giving it a strong spin.

the wheel began to come to a holt, slowly passing jake and erika.

anthony's heart started beating rapidly as the wheel completely stopped to reveal tessa's name.

the two made their way in front of each other, the surrounding group cheering them on.

"so, should we uh?" anthony mumbled, nervously scratching the back of his neck.

tessa nodded in response, already heating up at the cheeks. anthony gently grabbed tessa's face, slowly connecting their lips.

the whole room grew quiet as tessa and anthony shared their moment for a few moments too long.

chance loudly cleared his voice as the two broke the kiss.

"that's my boy! ohio!" jake cheered obnoxiously, high fiving chance.

after many other awkward and not so awkward kisses the group decided to disperse and do their own thing, with the exception of tessa and tony.

as everyone went their own way, tessa caught tony before he went into his room "toner, come here."

anthony entered tessa's room and shut the door behind him before joining her on her bed.

"what's up?" anthony smiled softly.

"you and chance should go to chipotle with me." tessa smiled a toothy smile.

"for sure." anthony nodded.

[...]

"just a burrito?" the cashier questioned observing the food.

"the burrito and whatever she got." anthony smiled, handing over his credit card.

anthony quickly went over to the table so tessa couldn't object and pay for her own food.

"thank you." tessa grinned gratefully, taking a seat across from anthony.

"you wanna tell us about dream girl that's got you in such a good mood lately?" chance spoke up.

"ooh, let's hear it." tessa agreed.

anthony sighed deeply, thinking of the kiss that occurred earlier.

"i mean we kind of kissed." anthony confessed with a mouth full of burrito.

"go on." chance urged with a smirk, now intrigued after putting the pieces together.

"you know how when people kiss they say it was like fireworks were going off? well when we kissed it was the equivalent of eating pizza. i like pizza a lot more than fireworks." a smile grew on anthony's face again as he took a bite of his burrito.

"okay, lover boy." tessa chuckled, admiring the way anthony thinks about this girl.

[...]

"you have a thing for tessa." chance blurted out as tony entered their bedroom.

"i do not." anthony protested almost too quickly.

"your reaction begs to differ." chance stifled a laugh.

"don't tell her." anthony begged.

"i won't, dude. you're going to right now." chance stood up and crossed his arms.

"i will tomorrow, this shit is nerve wracking." anthony grumbled.

as anthony sat on his bed his mind started going places he didn't want it to, what if she doesn't like him back? what if she's into someone else already? what if he's too late?
