Hunting: The Jungytopple (book 1 of the Hunting series)

Hi and welcome to a new series of books Im calling Hunting, this is the first book. As always

Chapter One

The Bear

There was me and my team just struggling through a very damp rainforest, just me and my hunting team nothing else at lest that's what we thought.

My hunting team were made up of 6 people Kiley, the doctor, Mike, the tracker, Timothy, our trained fighter, June, our survival guide (and my very best friend), Summer, our chief and second doctor (also my daughter) and then there's me, Juley, the leader. We are all trained with defence skills.

So there we were struggling through that damp rainforest on a very sunny day but we couldn't see the sun through all the leafes that swish and swirl in time with the small breeze that can just get through.

So at the moment your most likely thinking what we are all doing in such a damp place? Well it all started when there were sightings of Jungytopples, the most rearest type of monkey there is. Our job was to find it and save its race.But we have to be careful, the Jungytopple is very dangerous.

So anyway team Hunter (our team name) was walking along when June wispered "STOP" loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Get behind a bush" she wispered again. So we all jumped for the nearest bush exept for June.

She stood in th middle of the clearing looking around focused, watching, waiting and not soon after silence swept over the the area a big grizzely bear jump out into to the clearing.

June stood there with her army knife in in her right hand while thse the bear stood like 100 castles towering over her roaring his mighty roar.

"Thats one grizzly grizzly bear" I wisper quitely to Summer who was kneeling beside

"Yeah I agree, this could be a dangerous battle!" She replied.

The bear looked at June and ponced at her with his mouthe opened wide.

CRACK

I couldnt bare to look and see June in a pile of blood but I new I had to.

June was lying in blood and holding her left arm

"JUNE!!!" Cryed out Timothy running in with his sword in hand. He ran over to June and was guarding her ready for the wild bear to ponce upon him next.

And he was right, the bear took two steps back and stood up on his hind legs then

HOWL!

Timothys sword had gone strait through the bears heart Timothy wasnt there!

I got up and ran over to a dead bear and a mess of blood and Mike helped roll th bear over. Timothy was covered in blood and cuts and he was knocked out.

Kiley and Summer brought the nearly dead Timothy and June to a nearby patch of grass and laid them both down.Questions pored through my head

Will thay survive?Will thay die?If the die will I be able to live with myself?

And more questions pored in so I ram behind a thick tree and cryed so much that I was soaked.

Mike came and sat beside me

"Are you ok?" he asked giving me a hug, but I kept sobbing. He lifts my head up wipes my tears and gives me a kiss on my forehead. As soon as his lips touched me I knew I was safe and surcure.

Its a bit mushy at the end but im thinking on chapters to came i might add more.
