The next morning. I got up and was shocked to find Bihaan missing out of his place. I searched for him everywhere and ended up with finding him sleeping on floor. Oh god. How can I forget his painful past.... He's so scared of my touch. I rushed to him asking him to wake up. His fever was increased but thankfully he wasn't unconscious. "Are you mad" I fumed shaking his cheeks. "Your wounds will be hurt... Nonsense" I fumed managing him to sit and lean on bed. He huffed throwing a weak smile on me. "Bihaan stop behaving like this...." I decided to made him understand now!! His arm was hurting him I read his gesture. "Fine... If you want to sleep on floor I'll be there too" I groaned. He silently was leaning his head on bed and his gestures were painful. "Don't cry" He moaned hardly placing his trembling hand on my cheek. I realised tears on my cheeks. "Just shut up" I fumed kissing his forehead. He was weak and fever was getting higher.
At evening of the same day. I was preparing dinner and felt like someone staring at me. I turned and found it was Bihaan glancing at me. "What?" I asked gesturing him. "You look good in saree" His compliment made me blush. "Stop buttering me. Did you completed your next level?" I asked. "No battery is dead" He replied childishly pushing cellphone away from him. "Bihaan I told you not to end it's battery" I scolded. "We don't have any other phone... What if we need anything at night?? How would I call for help???....". "Shh.... Shh... Shh... Chuk chuk gadi" He cut me in between. "My hero is with me... Don't worry" He said smilingly comforting himself on bed. He always makes my anger dissappear with his flirts. He winked. I blushed again but hid it fuming at him.
"Can we go for a walk?" He insisted after we finished our dinner. "Bihaan it's night... And its not safe here." I warned. "Everything is fine when you are with me" He smiled. "Do you trust me this much?" my tears escaped out. "Yes" He wiped my tears. "No we are not going anywhere" I scolded making him lie to sleep. "Rude" He scoffed. I covered him with blanket and as he was weak, he was fast asleep.
I actually was waiting for his birthday which was about to about to arrive within an hour, I had once read in his writings.
It was 11:55 pm. I had decorated the Hut with candles and cake was placed safely in my small kitchen. I was really excited about his reaction. It was time to wake him up. Slowly I tickled in his ears with the edge of my saree. He was distributed but slept again. "Bihaan" I hissed near his ears. "Get up" I hissed excitedly. "Bihaan" I was really excited. "Get up" I kissed his cheek when he got up all sudden. Terrified. "No stay away" He cried throwing himself away from me. "Bihaan relax it's me" I tried to hold his hand but he wiggled getting out of bed.
"Bihaan relax see this is me". "Aaaaaahhh..... Noooo..... Don't..... Don't touch me...." He threw himself away from me.... Trembling. Stains on his white kurta showed his furiously bleeding arm. He got a hit from wall and fell sitting at the corner of the room. "Don't.... Don't touch me...." He cried. "It's me.... Thapki... Bihaan see" I tried to calm him. He threw blowing candles, his hand was burnt a bit, by its flame. "No.... Don't come near me" his arm was bleeding but he was stubborn. I can't see him like this. "Bihaan please" I wept. "He... He's...." He cried, shivering with terror. "Bihaan" I shook him holding his shoulder. "No... No...". "Bihaan" I groaned wildly shaking his shoulder. He was silent at the very moment.... Looking at me.... Silently. I hugged him tightly, slipping my hands around his neck and back. "Thapki he...." He cried. "Shh... No one is here Bihaan" I gripped him tighter. He was huffing and I caressed his back to calm him. I can feel his terror, his fear, his loud, his shivering, terrified heartbeats. "Thapki...." his voice was cracking in fear. "He..... He's here....". "Bihaan relax" I rubbed his back gripping him more tighter. His huffs were less. "Relax" I hissed. And he was much calm.
I broke the hug. His white with terror face was wet of tears. His eyes, red, teary, terrified, analysing at all corners of our small hut. "Everything is fine" I whispered wiping his tears. "See I'm here.... With You" I caressed his cheeks brushing his hair. He looked at me, scared.
We were shifted on bed, he was silent in terror. I rushed to first aid kit for his bleeding arm. He was silent, and scared. His white kurta was stained badly by blood. Slowly I removed his kurta meanwhile he remained silent. I too was silent, just controlling my tears.
I wiped his blood carefully. Yes it hurt him but he was still silent. I rolled bandage around his arm. "Why you left the cellphone's battery empty?" I groaned trying to make him utter something. He silently lied his head on my lap. Still shivering. "Bihaan...." I caressed his hair. He didn't replied anything. So I too kept quiet. We both were silent for almost an hour. His shivering was less somehow and thankfully he was finally sleepy. I stopped rolling fingers in his hair but he opened his eyes all sudden. Soon I realised he was feeling relaxed by my caressing, so I continued and he was sleeping finally.
My gaze fell on his chest.... Showing merciless stains of hunter, and........... He was tortured so much.... It's time to heal him. I covered him with blanket and he cuddled in my lap. "Everything is fine" I hissed smiling at this big, scared, kid.
