When I was in 5th grade, Instrumental was less stressful (thank god). There were about 14 students. Three of which played the viola, while the rest played the violin. I was ecstatic when over 60% of the students left from last year. Not that I hate them, I just don't like those who don't put in the effort required to achieve. If they tried out a group activity and realized that it wasn't right for them, they could've at least behaved respectfully during class, or talk to the music teacher about this issue. I just don't like people weighing down others AND not doing anything to improve.
Anyways, there were 3 students in the Instrumental who were only there since they wanted to skip class and fool around. Besides that, I was still content with the class. My friend (who convinced me to play the viola) wasn't half bad, but not spectacular. I still respected him, though. I can't really say that a lot happened in the class, except that I did play 1 solo for the 2 concerts that year. They weren't difficult to play, but I was still nervous. I don't remember the names of the pieces; that year wasn't outstanding, but still fun.
A/N: I know it's short and not that interesting. I swear my third year is WAY better than both of the first 2 years. As a matter of fact, I will start on it right now!
