So in this topic, we will know about the Japanese Alphabets/Writings.

Actually, there are 4 Japanese Alphabets/Writings. These are the Hiragana Alphabet, Katakana Alphabet, Kanji, and the Romaji.

First in Hiragana Alphabet, it is usually used in Japanese words. It consists of 46 characters. It also emphasizes for feminine writing because of the softness of the stroke of every characters. Example: おはようございます (ohayou gozaimasu which means good morning in english)

Second is the Katakana Alphabet. It also consists 46 characters. But this alphabet usually used in foreign words or names. Example: バナナ(Banana), ジョン(Jon/John), フィリピン(Firipin/ Philippines)

Third is the Kanji. This character was adopted by Japan from China. This character usually used in complicated words. Example: 英語(Eigo= English), 日本語(Nihongo/ Japanese Language)

And last, the Romaji. This is the English / translation. Example,of that is this(the one that is underlined) "お名前はなんですか?" Onamae wa nandesuka?
