I stood there, staring at the door. Music blasted from inside the house. Making my way inside the house, I stared at the hormonal teenagers grinding and making out with each other. Red plastics cups were thrown on the floor. People were puking in the corners.
Why do people drink in such quantities that they have to puke?! Can't they just control their drinking?! I hate seeing people puking because of drinks.
Sighing, I made my way towards the kitchen. Nothing is better than drinks to make you feel light-headed.
"Hey, buddy!" I turned around to see Reuben with two cups in his hands. "Take this," he said and handed me a cup.
I gulped it down in one go."Slow down, bud!" He chuckled. "Did you fight with mom again?"
"I didn't fight with her. We just disagreed on something." I said helplessly. I didn't like arguing with her at any point in my life. I don't want to see her upset, ever.
"Yeah, yeah," Reuben said.
"You know we weren't fighting. You were present there. You know what we were talking about!" I accused him. I clearly remember him being there. We were just informing her that we were going out and she was there, looking at that man's pics.
"No, I wasn't. I knew where that conversation would lead so I left you both alone. I returned when I thought it would get out of hand. You were pretty pissed," he explained.
I sighed, "Yeah, I was."
"You know what, leave it, let's enjoy this party." He suggested.
"Thank you, Reuben."
"For what?"
"For coming here every weekend. For helping me move on from what happened. For being there for me."
"Bro, I'm seriously feeling awesome but this is a party where people are wild, not sentimental," he commented, which surely made both of us laugh.
"Come on, now!"
After a few more drinks, we dragged our bodies on to the dance floor where people were less dancing and more grinding. What is it with teenagers always getting hormonal?
"Jeremy, Guys like you make us hormonal!" Stalker much? I turned to the new voice. I saw a really desperate girl. Sorry, I ain't judgemental but the clothes she was wearing said it all. I wouldn't call it an outfit, more like a whorefit.
"Oh really, how's that?" I asked
"You look sooooo hot and sexyyy. How can I blame my hormones?!" She chuckled while saying. Losing her balance, she fell on me.
"You are totally drunk."
"Nahh, just a bit tipsy!" Her words came out slurred while showing me her index finger and thumb.
Urggh! Where the hell is that doofus?!?
"Come on, let's dance!!" Before I could even reply, she dragged me in the middle of the floor and started grinding against me.
Why is it happening with me?
"Hey, I'll be back, okay?" I said, practically detaching her body from mine.
"Where are you going? I was having so much fun." She said in a seductive voice.
"I am just getting a few drinks," I answer and walked off before she can say anything else.
He is so dead.
I mean, just imagine, okay. You are stuck with a psychotic bitch— okay, not a bitch but a really desperate girl— who is literally trying to eat you and your ass of a best friend leaves you alone with her just to make out with some random guy.
