~Chapter 2~

Zane's POV
I sat alone in our complex reading my book. Just then I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. I hoped off the couch and walked to the kitchen. "What on earth are you doing?.." KC looked up at me. "Kawaii~chan is making her famous cupcakes!" She said excitedly. "Zane you know if you want one you can take one.." Kawaii~chan said while frosting the other cupcakes. "R-really? Thanks!" I sat down on the bar stool and munched on a cupcake. We finished eating our cupcakes and saved the rest for everyone else.
Since the rest of the group was out and about I decided to have some alone time in the hot tub. "I hope all those months in the stupid gym paid off.." I said and took my shirt off. A small smile came across my face. Garroth had been taken me to the gym for a couple of months now and I was slowly forming a pair of abs. I had a nice toned structure though, that's all that mattered to me. I changed into my swim-trunks and placed my mask on. I stepped into the hot-tub and started to read. I heard a small knock on the door and looked up. Kawaii chan opened the door a bit and stepped in closing the door. She was dressed in her baby-pink bikini. I blushed a bit and looked back at my book. "Zane~kun, mind if I join you?.." I sighed, "fine.." her face lit up and she made her way into the hot tub. It was pretty quiet until she broke the silence. "Z-Zane..if you don't mind me asking..why do always have your head in a book?.." I looked up from my book and faced the shy girl. "If you really want to know..well it clears my mind, plus if anyone sees me occupied in something they won't bother me." "Can I ask you a few more things?.." she asked shyly. I lplaced my book on a small table beside the tub. "Shoot." "Alright well...why aren't you out with the rest of the group?..", "well..I'm a very antisocial person, I don't communicate well with other people aside from aphmua. Wait now that I think about it..why are you here?.." I asked her. "Well....I didn't want to leave Zane~kun all by himself.." I blushed a little. She's so sweet..ugh..get it together Zane!
