5 weeks later...
KAWAII~CHAN'S POV
"I-Im fine babe I ju-" I put my face in the toilet and throw up some more. I have been feeling rather ill lately...but I shake it off like every other illness I've had. "Nana your not okay, this has been going on for a couple weeks now..." Zane says holding my messy hair away from my face."Here lets get you back into bed" Zane helps me up from the ground and guides me to the bed. Once I'm tucked in and laid down, he begins to grab some tissues, food,water,and a big bowl (I'm guessing for my barf). "Zane you don't have to do this..Im okay! really.." I say not wanting to worry Zane. "Nana let me help you, I know that you feel awful and this time Im here to take care of you.." Zane kisses me on my head and walks toward the door. "if you need anything just shoot me a text and I'll come running in.." he backs up and out the door closing it on his way.
ZANE'S POV
''I'm freaking out man! Kawaii Chan has been sick like this for the past couple of weeks!" I exclaim through the phone, Aaron on the other line. "I'm pretty sure its the flu, what else could it be?" he questions. "yeah I guess.."
"hey babe! I'm gonna run to the store and grab you some things!" I hear and okay and I'm out the door.
"Great! traffic!" I exclaimed and sighed. "ill just shoot her a text.." I picked up my phone and texted Nana that I'm going to be home later than expected. (Don't text and drive kids)
Text message from: My One and Only
: Its alright babe, take your time :) I'll call Aph or my brother if anything.
I send her a quick reply and glue my eyes back on the road.
Kawaii Chan's POV
"Oh jeez..." I mumbled before barfing into a bowl. "Ugh..maybe I should call Aphmau..." I said before picking my phone up and dialing her number. After a few rings she answered.
"Hey Kawaii Chan! How's it going?" She asks.
"Not so great...I've been barfing for a few weeks now...Zane went to go grab me some things at the store...I was wondering if you can come over and keep an eye on me?" I ask her.
"Oh! Poor you! Of course I'll come! I should be there in 20 minuets. See you soon!" She says and hangs up.
"Oh thank Iren-" I say just before barfing into the bowl.
25 minuets later...
"Kawaii Chan?!" I here a voice say from the living room. Then I hear footsteps making its way over to my room. "Oh you look so miserable!" Aphmau says bursting into my room and taking a seat next to me. "I brought some soup for you." She says and sets it down on my nightstand."thank you Aph.." I say weakly.
"What happened?" She asks. The thing is..I don't even know what happened to me.
"To be honest..I don't even know. Zane and I think it's a really bad flu..."
She feels my forehead to see if I'm hot.
"Well your warm but not blazing...how long have you been like this?.." She says in a higher pitch more concerning tone.
"Like...4 or five weeks..." I say. Her eyes immediately widen at my response.
"K-Kawaii Chan..I don't mean to worry you but..I think you might be..pregnant.."
My whole body freezes before I respond. "What?! N-no I can't be!" I freak out.
"Did you guys use any protection?..." She asks making me worry even more. I then come to a realization...we didn't..
I slowly nod my head no and she looks even more concerned.
"D-do you want to take a test?..." she asks. "N-no..I can't be pregnant! Zane would break up with me! I can't loose him again!" I begin to cry.
"Kawaii Chan! Don't honk that way!" She says and hugs me tightly.
"How about..we take the test, I'll run over to the store right now. You can take it in privacy...Zane isn't here now. Please Kawaii Chan..just try..I'll be with you the whole time.."
Her comforting words make me give in. I nod my head in agreement with tears still flowing down my eyes.
"Great! Kawaii Chan..I'll be back. When I get back all those tears should be dry okay?" She says before leaving my room and out the front door.
Reality hits me hard. Zane and I did do it 5 weeks ago...maybe I really could be pregnant. My eyes start to water even more. All I have to do is wait for Aphmau..Then I can calm my nerves.
15 minuets later...
I got a few texts from Zane saying that he is at checkout and that traffic is horrible. Thank Irene Aphmau just walked to the store instead of driving.
I heard the door open and close and footsteps coming to my room. My heart starts to beat rapidly.
"I bought it." She says and hands me the box.
"I made sure to get the good kind. Just for accuracy.."
I hold the box in my hand and read it.
One line: not pregnant
Two lines: pregnant
Without speaking I slowly make my way over to the bathroom.
"I'll be waiting for you..no rush..take your time.." Aphmau says softly before I close the bathroom door.
This is it.
A couple minutes later..
The anticipation is killing me. I sit on the bathroom floor, waiting for my results. 3 minuets have gone by...it should be ready..I take the stick face down and slowly flip it. My eyes go wide at the results. I begin to cry.
"Pregnant."
