"Aphmau. What is the best way to calm an enraged werewolf?" Wyatt suddenly turns to her, asking her a question that she wasn't prepared for."Cover their eyes, this prevents them from seeing red like usual, calming them down." She says after a second Professor Wyatt nods and turns back to teaching on the board.
Lily, in the back, scoffs. Aphmau hears it, and ignores it, even though she has the urge to go over there and beat the ever loving tar out of her.
"Aaron when does the moon effect transformation?" He again asks app question, but Aaron is prepared.
"Full Moons. But New Moons and Eclipses keep us up And influence how we feel." Again professor Wyatt nods, and turns back towards the board.
"Of course, transformation only occurs in pure werewolves." He adds before drawing a surprisingly detailed diagram of werewolf anatomy.
Lily, can you tell me how many pups a female werewolf will have on average?" Lily looks unprepared, but still answers confidently.
"One to Two-"
"I'm sorry, on Average, female werewolves can have up to four to six pups at a time." Professor Wyatt corrects her swiftly.
Aphmau feels a swift spike of horrible realization run down her spine, she wanted pups, sure, but not that many.
Aaron is silent, he knows this, and is part of the reason they are not ready, financially or mentally.
The bell rings and the few students in the class file out of the classroom, Professor Wyatt stopping Aaron and Aphmau before they left.
"Before you two go, I must thank you for your help last year. And congratulate you on your new addition!" At first, they nod, but after a minute or two of processing they are taken aback.
"New addition? What are you talking about sir?" Professor Wyatt laughs a little, before looking at the faces of the confused couple.
"You two don't know do you?" He chuckles a little, but regains his composure to explain himself.
"Aaron, have you sensed anything different about Aphmau in the past few weeks? A second scent, a weird overcast?" He asks, trying to get him to the conclusion himself.
"Not really... Well, a little I guess, but scents are bound to fluctuate slightly." It goes completely over the younger man's head, so Professor Wyatt takes another approach.
"Son, your going to be a father soon."
Aaron did multiple things at once, his face went a bright shade of red, then white, his tail stiffened and his heart exploded in his chest.
"Your Pregnant!?" He desperately asks Aphmau, as she looks mortified, and shakes her head vigorously, her eyes wide with the phrase: Holy Sh*t, why me?
Professor Wyatt starts dying of laughter. Coming to terms that he should really stop telling people about new hormones like this.
"No, No, No. I'm sorry if I scared you both, but I can smell the pheromones you two are letting off, I'm just stating what's going to most likely take place."
"Oh... Yeah you could have stated that better." Aaron tries to calm his heart rate and breathing, while apologizing to his girlfriend next to him.
"I'm sorry, Now go to your dorm before the prefects card you for lollygaging." He chuckles at how stressed he just made the two Alpha's.
They walk through the corridor in almost complete silence, it's not an awkward silence, just one full of bustling and tired brains.
"Hey, I've been thinking on getting a part time job." Aphmau suddenly breaks the silence as soon as Aaron opens the door to their dorm.
"Really? Where?" He asks absentmindedly, diving instantly on the coach and throwing off his shirt.
"Harry's Pub, she seemed nice and it looks busy enough to pay well." Aaron thinks of Gene and his gang, making his blood boil.
"No. Anywhere but there. Not when that low-life is slinking around there." Aphmau is taken aback, but ready to argue her case.
"Gene? I'm not scared of some bully Aaron. Besides, You know I can take care of myself." Aaron is tired, and the full moon tomorrow night is making his temper sizzle on a short fuse.
"Not against his entire gang, and I know he isn't above sending his goons after you." He replies, everyone expects a couples argument to be a lot of yelling, not with them, it's just slightly raised voices.
"It's sweet that your worried about me, but again I'm not afraid of him or his goons, I've trained with you remember? I'm just as strong as you are." This rouses Aaron's attention, so his tired mind gets it's gears cranking.
"Alright. If you can beat me in a duel tomorrow evening then you can go down there and work, without me worrying. Deal?" He half expects her to say no, but he's way to giddy with what she says next.
"You, Handsome sir, have got yourself a deal"
