November 18, 2014,

You know you need to chill when you can't stop thinking about her throughout the duration of each class.

Like what the hell is wrong with me?

Is it that hard for me to just say it?

"You shouldn't ask Jacob out, he's an ass. He doesn't deserve your pure heart that radiates a light even on the darkest of days. You're my light, leading me through the darkness of my twisted mind. "

Why couldn't I have said something poetic like that shit?

Instead I just freaking stumbled on my words and said "your nice and stuff."

Nice?

And stuff!?

No wonder you're single.

The struggle is real.

Do you know how real the struggle is?

IT'S REAL.

I would love to be able to waltz right into school and be the heartthrob that every girl swoons over.

Teenage heartthrob James Dunes.

It even sounds good.

Why God? Why did you make me like this? Why wasn't I blessed with the gift of good looks?

Okay, think positively.

I may not be the heartthrob but I'm decent.

Right!?

Ok back on track to actual diary shit.

December is just around the corner and that means The Winter Formal is too.

God help me on this one.

This is going to be the year I actually get myself a date.

Like it's about time, am I right?

And I promise I will be cool. Okay? I won't be lame.
I'll have the moves like Jagger, the swagger of Micheal Jackson, and the seriousness of James Bond.

Billie Jean, it's Shaken, not stirred.

Ha. I crack myself up sometimes.

Ah. This is why I'm alone.

Anyways, back to important stuff.

Reminder: important list in which I must get crackle-lacking on very soon.

Zoey's Mixtape:
- Kids in America (Kim Wilde)
- Surrender (Cheap Trick)
- Come on Eileen (Dexys Midnight Runners)
- Lay All Your Love On Me (ABBA)
- Jessie's Girl (Rick Springfield)
- Take On Me (a-ha)
- Come And Get Your Love (Redbone)
- Escape (Rupert Holmes)
- Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Marvin Gaye, Tammi Terrell)
- Signed, Sealed, Delivered (Stevie Wonder)
- Mamma Mia (ABBA)
- Proud Mary (Tina Turner)
- ABC (The Jackson 5)
- Uptown Girl (Billie Joel)
- Don't Stop Believing (Journey)
- Don't Stop Me Now (Queen)
- Baba O'Riley (The Who)
- Hey Jude (The Beatles)
- La Vie En Rose (Louis Armstrong)

The last two don't fit with the rest because it's from different time periods. Like the 80's, the 60's and the 40's are waaaay different when it comes to music! But the Beatles song is kind of my 'Ode to Zoey' and the last one on the list is her favourite song. These two songs are crucial if I want it to have that certain effect.

You know?

Okay. Tomorrow's a new day, which means more courage is on the way.

Hopefully.

Ok, this is entry number"I've lost count" and I'm still not getting anywhere with Operation Charm.

Come on James get to it!

Well, this concludes today's entry of my journal.

Quote of the day: "Tiara said she lost two pounds today! What, did she take off her makeup?" - Zoey

With love,
James Dunes
