October 8th, 2016

It was a quiet night at the Heffley residence and the two members of the house Rodrick and Frank are sitting on a couch watching TV since Greg is on a date.

"I wonder how my brother is doing in his date?"  Rodrick thought to himself before turning to his father with a knowing look

"I know what you're thinking about" Frank said simply "I wonder how's he doing on his date"

Suddenly, they heard a knock on their door in which Rodrick answers it; He opens the door and sees a boy with dark brown messy hair and hazel eyes, a girl with frizzy red hair tied in a ponytail and green eyes, a huge stork with light brown eyes, a short boy with messy brown hair and brown eyes, a boy with black hair in a ski jump hairstyle and brown eyes, and a boy with brown hair in a comb over hairstyle and blue eyes.

"Hi there!" The redhead girl greeted

"Hey" Rodrick simply responded

"I don't think we met before" The girl said "So my name is Tulip Winston"

"And I'm pretty sure I don't know the three of you" Rodrick pointed to the three boys since he already knew Austin and Junior during his orientation

"My name's Nate Gardner" The short boy introduced himself

"Thomas Baker" The black haired boy followed

"Vincent Hudson" The brown haired boy finished

"I don't think we formally know you and your family yet" Austin stated

"And besides, you and your brother don't interact with other people" Vincent stepped in

"We're just here to know you and your brother more so we can understand each other more at work tomorrow" Junior explained

"Alright then" Rodrick said plainly before allowing his guests to enter his house

"Rodrick who was that at the door?" Frank questioned as he walked into the scene

"My boss and his assistant" Rodrick answered "Along with their friends"

"What did you do this time?" Frank questioned in a worried tone

"Nothing, they're just here to know me and Greg even more" Rodrick answered simply

"Fine but let me know who they are first please?" Frank requested to which his son nods in response before Austin and Junior walk up to him

"I wonder if they're gonna dad that I didn't listen to what they were saying"  Rodrick thought as he watches his father sharing a conversation with his boss and his assistant

"Can I ask you something?" Tulip asked snapping Rodrick out of his thoughts

"What is it?" Rodrick replied

"Is your house always this messy?" Tulip questioned while taking a glimpse at the house's surroundings along with Vincent and Nate

"I forgot that our house has been that way two weeks after we first moved in"  Rodrick mentally slaps himself for forgetting
