(SEPARATION)

NARRATOR

Allow me to unhinge your reality. To remove borders and boundaries between your world and another. A tiny marvel... incredibly important and intrinsic. A world totally unlike yours, a strange world, a dangerous world. Where everything you've ever known can change in an instant.

It is called Beh Tien.
We call it the Between

A Vo' Lee Anh was the Elder of the realm and her days were thinning...

She was preparing to rise from the land and never be seen again. To take her place in the higher realm known as Da Vaal. She danced less often, sometimes only on the high days. Even letting her entourage and guards dance in her stead.

INTERIOR, ELDER'S ABODE - EVENING

CROWD, several of the clans have gathered loosely before a stage, milling about, but in their own groups... They begin to murmur, (adlib)...

Why were we summoned?

SO' FIA, a tree nymph dressed with green and gold silk like scarves, steps out of her group and with great emotion addresses the crowd.

I have heard that it is of the greatest importance, that ALL, from youngest to oldest must be present.

BRR UNQ, a rough looking fire sprite with a very dark demeanor, dressed in red and black. His movements and words are harsh, hasty and confident.

Who summoned us?

SO DAJ, a water sprite dressed in blue and green flowy attire, steps out of her group and says.

The elder herself! The envoy came straight from her.

CROWD Member #2

Is she unwell?

MOY YO, a fire sprite, not as flashy as BRR UNQ and very unassuming, almost drab, steps forward from off stage.

MOY YO

(Sadly) She dances only on the high days anymore.

CROWD #1

(Excited) Hush! I hear her entourage!

The crowd bows and backs away to make room for the ELDER.

The Elder, known as, A VO' LEE ANH, a pale, regal woman, who dresses like a royal representation of an AIR SPRITE.

The entourage dances ahead of the elder. Her GUARDS are close to her side as she also begins to dance.

ERR ELA, an Air sprite and the Elder's Captain of her guard, is dressed in white and blue, wielding blue and white fans.

As the Elder advances, Erella stands behind her, calling for all to see and hear.
