Thoughts of an Uchiha heir

"September fourteenth two thousand seventeen. I need my pills.... I still can see Sasuke walking all over this damn base. Oh really you see me? I wouldn't have thought" Sasuke sat to the right side of your bed and clutched onto your hand.

You laid silently in your bed, your eyes were closed and you smiled in your sleep.

You've been in your deep sleep for a day or two by now, Doctors begged Sasuke to let you go.... But Itachi and Him denied. Your brother respected their wishes and begged his uncle in return to let you stay until evidence backs up that you will never wake up

After your attempt to kill yourself by taking a handfull of pills and plunging yourself with a kitchen knife, you failed....

Naneki found you in her house drenched with blood, the first thing she did was call the ambulance and contact your friends she knew about..... All except Sasuke

Believe it or not Sasuke had a hard time accepting that you would have done this to yourself. Even from the protests from his brother Itachi he ignored him and stayed by your side anyway

Sasuke flipped to the next page and read out loud the following to himself and your sleeping body "September fifteenth two thousand seventeen, I have this need for Sasuke now, if I don't see him I don't know what I'll do-"

The door opened and Sasuke glanced at the awaiting figure in the light. Sasuke glared the the said person "what do you want, Itachi"

The elder sibling slid through the door and lightly closed the door behind him "you can't be mad at me forever Sasuke, did you even finish reading her note to you?" Itachi asked

Sasuke shut the book and placed it at the table on the side of your bed "I don't need to finish it, in her note it clearly states that she loved you.... And in her previous chapters it said that she hates me-"

"And who's at fault, Sasuke" Itachi neared his brother "you're not the victim-" "I didn't say I was!-" "You didn't see her in pain for the few days her mind was ragging out of control-" "I know I didn't-" "(y/n) was going through hell because of you Sasuke! Do you not realize the hell you've given her because you wanted to fulfill your idiotic manly needs with another woman?!" The scene unfolded fast and the situation escalated quickly "I was there's you know, I was there when she had her breakdowns about you! Konan was at her side when (y/n) cried in the middle of the night!... (y/n)'s the victim here.... Because of you. Don't you feel any guilt at all? Don't be mad because she doesn't love you, if anything you deserve it" Itachi pointed an accusing finger at Sasuke "she was miserable for the past four months because of you! That's the worst hell a person could ever take, especially by someone she loved and trusted"

Widened eyes and a gaped mouth, Sasuke folded his arms "You don't think I feel guilty, Itachi? You don't think I feel regret?!" Sasuke's lips dreaded into a frown "you think I didn't love her too?!"

Itachi raised a brow at his younger brother. It never dawned upon Itachi about Sasuke's feelings in this situation.

"That day I was gonna go to (Y-Y/n)-......" Sasuke took in a deep breath, you could hear his voice crack at the mention of the Hyūga's name "I was gonna go to (y/n)'s house to get her back....." Sasuke turned the other direction and faced you "Naneki didn't want me going inside.... So I just left. I didn't know that'll be my last chance seeing her again.... But who cares, she'll never love me just as much as she loves you, you damn ass"

Itachi rolled his eyes "whatever Sasuke.... Don't blame me or (y/n), what you really should do is finish reading your letter... Maybe there was something out of text. I mean, really? Who Would really read a letter half way through and stop when they see a part they don't like" Itachi questioned
