Chapter 11 - Unwanted Surprise

'I'm glad we sorted that out' I said as we were walking back to the hotel.

'Me too' said Lewis. 'We have a wedding to plan and we don't need a psycho getting in our way' he added.

'Psycho is an understatement' said Rikki.

We all laughed.

When we got back to the hotel room something felt weird.

'Someone's here' said Rikki.

We all split up and investigated to room. Exept me and Lewis, we searched together.

'If anyone's here you better come out now!' Lewis yelled.

I was really scared. I was squeezing Lewis' arm really tight.

'Hello Cleo' I heard a guy say.

'Zane!' I yelled. 'What are you doing here?'

'Your dad told me about the engagement' he said. 'I wanted to congratulate you' he added.

'That desn't sound like you Zane' Rikki said, walking towards him.

'Rikki!' Zane said.

Zane sounded really happy to see Rikki. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her.

'Get off!' Rikki yelled, pushing Zane away.

'Rikki, please ho many times do I have to say sorry?' Zane begged.

'It's not about saying sorry' said Rikki. 'It's about why you needed to say sorry in the first place Zane' she added.

'I know, I was stupid, but I can't live without you Rikki' said Zane. 'I love you'

'Touching' said Rikki as she walked away.

'Rikki, please?' Zane asked. 'One more chance?' he begged.

Rikki looked over to me as if to say 'what should I do?' I dodded to indicate that she should give him another chance.

'Okay Zane, I'll go out with you' Rikki said. 'But you screw it up once more I will never talk to you again, do you understand?'

'Yes! I understand' said Zane.

Zane leaned in and kissed Rikki. Rikki began to pul away but decided not to.

'I knew she still liked him' I said to Lewis.

We smiled and Lewis kissed me.
