It was yesterday. I had begun to walk around, observing people. I wasn't in my body though. I watched them try to save me. I watched Duncan sit there... crying waiting for me to wake up. Sometimes I think he sees me, he looks shocked when I'd sit next to him. He left sometimes for school. I'd try to think of ways of getting back but none ever worked. One day I wondered kinda far away and it must have been my last day outside my body. Everything turned to a white light. I was either dead or waking up... Then everything went black. I'm dead... Then my eyes fluttered open. What? No... I'm... back...! I looked around. No one was around. I tried to sit up but couldn't. I was out for a few months. I'd need physical therapy. I couldn't move anything below the neck. Finally a nurse came in. "She's up!" She yelled shocked. Doctors came in and worked on the machines. I had no clue what they were doing. "Call her parents and... that boy would probably like to know she's up." I knew who they were talking about... Duncan. I hope my parents don't tell Joseph.
