The night sky wears a cloak of solid security,
Scrutinising faces, all but sheer purity,
They infatuate, they stare, with respect; they admire,
A garroting hold, a piece of thin wire,
The night sky keeps captives, stars that shine bright,
It bathes the world, until the world will ignite,
Forever an enigma, the mystery of earth,
Chilling us people, like a devoted hearth,
the night remains unseen, like the lies we pass,
Strong and silent, yet fragile like glass.
