Harry's P.O.V.

When the time finally came around to go get Devon for their date, to say Harry was nervous was a way understatement. He hadn't been on a date for a long time. Despite what fans thought were going on with every girl he was seen in public with, or even Louis at some points in time, the truth of it was, Harry hadn't been on a date in ages. He continuously thought as he was getting around that if he took one step, his foot would hit the floor and an imaginary button would make him explode from anxiety. He had gotten a text from Devon a little after he got off work around four, telling him her address so he could come and pick her up for the date. Harry had begun getting ready the moment he got the text and replied. He had showered, gotten dressed after contemplating which outfit to wear, only to realize he had sweat stains after a few minutes, in which he had to re-shower and look through his clothes again.

When it finally came time to go pick up Devon, Harry was a complete mess on the inside, his nerves were freaking out, and it felt like his heart was jumping around to every part of his body. On the outside however, he looked quite nice, which was no surprise at all. He had on a grey shirt with his tan-gold jacket on over top of it, some skin-tight (so tight you could've sworn there was no circulation in the blood flow to his legs) black skinny jeans, his normal brown chelsea boots, and a cross necklace. He had also thought that for tonight, wearing a hat would be appropriate since he didn't want to have to deal with making his hair look what he thought was perfect. He had rings scattered across both of his hands, one on almost every finger, making a noise each time he put his hands together.

After fiddling with his fingers in anticipation on whether or not he should actually go through with this, he walked out the front door and drove to Devon's house. The whole time there he could hope that she would like him, like actually like him. So far each time he thought about her or saw her he was truly happy, and he didn't want to loose her and make all that go away. He knew it most definitely sounded crazy in his head, they had only met twice in the span of a month, he could only imagine how crazy it would sound out loud. He was so lost in thought he didn't even realize he was in front of her house until he pulled up into her driveway. He took one last deep breath after walking up her front steps before cautiously knocking on the door.

He could hear fiddling with the doorknob on the other side, before it opened, revealing Devon. Harry's jaw went ajar as he took in her appearance. She had a white blouse on with a flowing short black skirt. She had black heels on and very little make-up, if any, which Harry loved. He hated the idea of a girl wearing make-up, he thought it messed with perfection. Her hair was down, which to Harry's delight was actually very long, she had only the top part pulled up, allowing the loose waves in her hair to flow each time she moved. Harry was taken aback a bit, he knew she was beautiful when she first walked into his tattoo parlor, but he never expected her to take his breath away the way she was right now.

"Hi", Harry says, letting out a breath.
"Hi", Devon says, giggling slightly.
"You um...you, you look nice", Harry stuttered. Devon blushed a little bit.
"Thank you, you look very nice as well", she says, complimenting Harry. Harry nodded his thank you, still hardly able to speak from nerves. Devon walked out of her house and locked the door behind her. She turned to Harry as he led her to his car, where he, being the gentleman he is, opened the door for her and helped her in the car before shutting the door gently behind her. Once he got in the car, he backed out of Devon's driveway, pulling out onto a normally busy road, that was very quiet tonight, to Harry's surprise.
"So, where are we going?", Devon asks, curiously looking over at Harry. Harry just smiled, slyly looking over a Devon.
"It's a surprise. You'll have to wait and see", Harry says, making Devon let out a groan, to which he laughed.
"Why!?", Devon asks, playfully shoving Harry's arm.
"Because, I wanted it to be", Harry says, keeping his eyes on the road as a smile played on his lips.
"Fair enough", Devon says. No more words about the surprise were spoken the whole way there, however they did engage in conversation about other things, like tattooing, family, and interests.

When they were almost there, Harry told Devon to put a blindfold on as he feared she would recognize the place of she didn't.
"But why?", Devon asks, giggling a bit as she tied the blindfold over her eyes.
"Because if you don't it'll ruin the surprise. Now we don't want that, do we?", Harry asks, smiling even though Devon can't see him, Harry turned his head back to look at the road before turning into a very familiar parking lot to him. He got out of the car and helped Devon out before guiding her down a hallway that he had been down many times before, just not alone. He prayed to myself that she would like it, otherwise he wasted tonight for nothing. Harry guided Devon up to the highest point you could go in the building before stopping and having her stand still.
"Alright, I'm going to count to three and remove the blindfold, ready?", Harry asks. Devon nods. Harry takes his hands up and starts to untie the blindfold.
"3...2...1...", Harry says, dropping the blindfold when he hits one. Devon gasps as she takes in the sight, her hands going up to cover her mouth. In front of the was a view Harry had never gotten to see very much before from this angle, it was the Wembley Stadium.
"Oh my god, Harry...", Devon says, a smile forming on her lips.
"Do you like it?", Harry asks, biting his lip as a smile formed on his face.
"Harry, it's amazing! Of course I do!", Devon says. They just stand there, taking in the view of all the seat below them, and of course the stage where Harry had stood so many times before with his bandmates.

Harry walked closer to Devon.
"Want to go see what the view from the stage looks like?", Harry asks. Devon looks over at him wide eyed.
"Yes! Of course!", She cheers, following Harry down towards the stage, the smile never leaving her face. They reached the stairs to the stage where Harry helped Devon up, walking to center stage. Harry looked around the stadium a genuine smile on his lips as he remembered the fond memories of performing here with the boys.
"The view from here is amazing", Devon says, letting out a breath of shock as she looked around at all the seats.
"You actually played here?", She asks, raising her eyebrows in shock. Harry nods.
"Yup. This is one of the biggest arenas in the world. I never thought I'd get to play here, an I did it all with my four best friends. It feels like so long ago now", Harry says, looking around the arena again, then back over at Devon.
"It must've been amazing", Devon says, smiling at him.
"It was. I remember the concerts we played always started with Liam and Niall walking out first, Louis following, and then Zayn used to go after him with me. Liam always used to introduce me by saying: 'Here he is! Mr. Harold Styles!', it was definitely the best time of my life", Harry says, looking down sadly at his feet after running around to show Devon where each thing happened.
"But now, I guess it's just not that way anymore", Harry says, trailing off to a whisper at the end. Devon goes over to comfort him.

"Hey, it'll happen one day again. The boys will come around. Even if they don't, you're extremely talented, I'm sure you could make it on you're own. Writing and singing songs, you know?", Devon says, smiling as she out and arm around him. Harry smiled as he looked up at her.
"You know, I have written songs on my own", Harry says. Devon's eyes widen a bit with excitement as she smiles.
"Oooohhh! Can I hear them please!?", Devon says, jumping up a bit. Harry laughs, wrapping his arm around her.
"Let's maybe save that for the second date", He says, chuckling as he watched Devon jump around in eagerness as they exited the arena.
