None of the chapter art is mine, if you haven't already gotten that... oops
Yuuri's POV
We stroll to the coffee shop next door, order our drinks, and choose to sit outside as it is a nice day. The gentle breeze coupled with the reflection of the sun in Victor's eyes makes me want to sit here until the end of time."I would ask how your mocha is but you seem to like drinking in my physique more." Victor says with a slight smirk before he crinkle his nose and adds: "that sounded smoother in my head."
I laugh and take a sip of my drink.
"it's fine but, it looks like you need a drink yourself there, since you're so thirsty," I jest. He blushes and mumbles something I can't quite make out because he instantly starts to down his own drink.
"Poking fun aside, I want to actually get to know you. What does the famed Yuuri Katsuki do when he's not pole dancing and or teaching said pole dancing?" Victor says, adding a bit of grandiose to his words just to be funny.
"Well..." oh geez, what do I do? "umm... I watch Netflix and...... you know what? that's it. I watch Netflix basically." Hey, if he doesn't like the incredibly lazy side of me, he doesn't like me (mostly because there is no incredibly lazy side to me, that's kind of all I am).
"Rivetting," He says in mock awe.
"Hey it's true! I don't do much I just sort of stay at home all the time," I admit with a bit of a smile - but only because the more I talk the more Victor smiles which in turn makes me smile, then he smiles, and it all just kind of loops.
"mhm, mhm, I'm supposed to believe that you get up, go to work, pole dance like a god, then go home and just chill? no parties? Risque night life? Nothing? Just you and your Netflix? I'm sorry, I can't buy that."
"Well, when you put it like that I sound boring..."
"BORING?? Did you not hear the part about you POLE DANCING like a GOD?"
"Shhh! Don't say that so loud, people are looking at me!" I feel my cheeks heating up but Victor is still smiling, laughing a little too and it makes me a little agitated.
"Okay so then what do you do after you're done helping middle aged women get their daily dose of cardio?" I snap a little.
"Might I remind you that your mother is one of those middle aged women," He puts his hand to his chest feigning shock. "I always go home and take my dog for a mile run and hang out with friends if they're free."
He sounds so dang nonchalant about it, as if everyone goes for a mile run almost everyday or has friends that they can just hang out with at the drop of a hat. pft... who needs a well set life with stable relationships and motivation anyways ammirite?
"With all of that confidence, you really just stay at home all the time?" He stirs his drink as he asks me with, yet again, a slightly joking tone.
I scoff, "What confidence?"
"'What confidence'? 'What confidence'?!? What the heck do you mean 'what confidence'? May we not forget you basically Miley Cyrus-ed my ass back on the studio with you're whole 'ooh, I'm Yuuri, and I can sway my hips when I walk and take tour breath away with a touch because I know how attractive you find me and I'm going to flaunt it.'" He mocks my voice in exactly the way you'd expect - a Bad Japanese accent done by someone with a heavy Russian accent, so, in short, adorably offensive.
"I was just pulling your leg," I look down at my drink. I really don't know what came over me when that was happening but he looks so cute when dumbstruck, I couldn't stop myself. I've never really done anything like that to anyone.
"You must be a very flirty drunk," Victor states so bluntly I choke a little on my Mocha. "Were going to have to go clubbing one night."
"Why is something in my mind telling me you're going to drug me if that happens?"
"I'll only drug you with my charm," He flashes a very toothy grin and rests his chin on his interlaced hands, his elboys resting on the table.
"Oh goodness, please stop trying to be smooth, you're not good at it," I chuckle.
"My awkward charm will wear you down one day, just you wait."
We stand and decide to cut the date there. Victor promised one of his many friends he was going to hang out with them and he needed to go if he was going to make it in time. I was sad to have to leave it there but with the slight promise of getting to hang out with him again, I was okay. I headed home and turned on Netflix - wow, how boring am I?
This was written in about half an hour so don't judge me, I know it's bad and I probably used words incorrectly but hey, everyone makes mistakes. Everyone has those days. Everybody knows what-what I'm talking about; everybody gets that way.
