I feel like I've said this before, but none of the chapter art is mine, I just very highly enjoy the aesthetic of it.

Victor's POV
"Can you just put the food on the bar? And how many times have I told you not to kick open the door?" I ask Chris, rather annoyed that he interrupted Yuuri and I when I was just about to ask Yuuri if I could kiss him.

"Ooh, I did interrupt something. I would say you can continue as if I wasn't here but I know that only makes a situation like this more awkward," Chris answers. He's making fun of me because a situation like this happened a little while back when he brought someone back to the apartment and they were all but naked when I came home. I told them they could continue and I would just go to my room but the person left and Chris wouldn't talk to me for a few days.

I only glare at him as he puts the food where I asked and flops down on the couch a little ways away from us. I look down to see that Yuuri has his head in my chest, pouting it seems. He's absolutely adorable and I can't stop myself from bringing my hands up to his arms. I stroke his biceps in a consoling manner before I even know what I'm doing or trying to accomplish in my doing it. I just have a need to make him comfortable and happy, I think.

The door is kicked open again, making Yuuri jump away from me - grabbing his chest as if he's just had a heart attack. I look over to see Yuri and Otabek casually strolling in, no greeting or explanation for abusing my door.

"Jebus Rice, Yuri! Did you just kick the lock in on my door?" I yell as him and Otabek just keep walking in, headed towards the rest of us on the couch.

"calm down, old man, if you didn't want me to just walk in you wouldn't have given me the key to your stupid apartment," Yuri quipped as he flopped down on the pillows scattered across the ground. Otabek sat on the couch behind him and Yuri quickly moved back so he was resting between Otabek's legs.

I just grumble and look back towards Yuuri, who is staring at the two newcomers. Whether it's out of fear or surprise, I don't know, but I can't blame him either way.

"H-hi, I'm Yuuri Katsuki. I don't believe I've met either of you before." Yuuri extends his hand out to the two of them and puts on a shy smile. Yuri only glances at his extended hand through his long blonde hair and settles in even closer to Otabek. Yuri only gives in to greeting Yuuri when Otabek nudges him with his leg.

"Hi. I'm Yuri. This is Otabek," Yuri sighs out. He turns his face up to look at his boyfriend (oh yeah, we all know even though they won't admit it) and tartly says "Happy?"

Yuuri slowly lets his hand drop and I grab it as it comes to rest at his side. I pull him into the kitchen with me and let go of him so I can start grabbing bowls and things for the food before anyone else can arrive.

"Sorry about Yuri, he's in those edgy teen years now," I say lowly to try and keep our conversation private.

"FUCK YOU."

Darn. Guess I didn't say it quietly enough.

"It's okay... um, do you need any help with any of this?" I can't even respond before Yuuri grabs things and starts organizing - putting chips in bowls and opening liters of pop. He's so captivating even in the smallest things and I can't help but smile and embrace him from behind, making him almost drop the bag of chips he was opening.

"V-Victor, you could've just said a simple thank you," Yuuri squeaks out, almost whispering it so everyone on the couch won't look up from their Netflix scrolling. He's so cute, I can only hug him tighter.

"Is it just me or was a group gathering a bad idea for our second date?" I ask into his shoulder.

"I think the clubbing idea may have been better than this," he jests.
