Jaedah ♛

We arrived to this unknown location, we were by the water. It was a long boardwalk that ended at a beach. It was a new experience for me.

"This is so tumblr-ish." I laughed. He looked at me and smiled, "Yeah, I like the aesthetic of a boardwalk at night. The sunset is always beautiful, like you."

I blushed, "Thank you". We walked down the boardwalk, conversing with each other. We actually had many things in common. Not that easy to find these days.

Rakim ♚

I had this feeling with her that I never had with anyone else. It seemed like she was perfect for me, but I'm not gon' rush things. "Why do you do what you do?" She asked out of the blue. I chuckled at her curiosity, "What made you ask that?". She shrugged and replied, "I don't know, talking to you, you don't seem like the.. 'thugish' type".

"Well, I do it because I have no other option. I fucked around in school and nobody wants to hire somebody that is barely going to graduate." I shrugged, I had learned to live with my mistakes. She looked at me for a while, "You have potiential and.. I can see that you have ambition. You just don't know where to start".

Jaedah ♛

I know how it feels to be stuck and not know what to do with yourself. Took me a while to gain the courage to be something in life. I took a seat in the sand and gazed out into the sunset. I tend to zone out a lot and quite frankly, this is one of those moments.

I continued to stare into the sky until I saw multiple flashes come from beside me. I look and I see Rakim flicking me up like I'm Rihanna.

I rolled my eyes, "What are you doooing? Damn, can you let me pose first?" I then burst out laughing at the fact that he completely ignored what I was saying. Two can play at this game. I shifted to my right side "Here get my good side."

Rakim ♚

We sat there for a good 15-20 minutes taking pictures. "Hm, I think you may be my new personal photographer." She exclaimed, skipping past me. I don't know where this energy came from but I like it.

"You ever smoked before?" I asked, genuinely curious. "A couple times, mostly at parties." She replied, sitting back down in the sand again. "Why'd you ask?". I looked up at the sky, the sun had went away completely. "Just curious.. You don't look like a 'smoker' anyway." I replied. "What you tryna say?" She asked, squinting at me.

"I'm trying to say you don't look like a smoker." I responded, with the same attitude she gave me. "Mmhm. Whatever. I'm hungry." She said, mugging me and getting up from out the sand.

Jaedah ♛

"I want some buffalo wingssss." I hinted, as we walked to the boardwalk. "That's your favorite food isn't it?" He chuckled. I gasped, "Oh my god, how did you know?". He nudged me and we both laughed.

We were almost to the food places on the boardwalk when I felt his hand make its way into mine. I looked up at him to see him looking straight ahead.

I hope this doesn't turn out like the rest..
