I walked into the hallway, tired of being here. I really just wanted to go home and get in bed. I opened my locker and grabbed my French book out, replacing it with my English one. I turned to put it in my bag, when I heard a annoyingly familiar voice behind me.

"Hey Jae!"

I rolled my eyes putting my book in my bag, slamming my locker and turning around to meet the face that practically ruined my life. The girl I once called a friend, the girl my ex cheated on me with. "What the hell do you want?" I exclaimed, with obvious attitude in my voice.

She looked taken aback, but I don't know why she's playing dumb. Girl you knew. "What's all that for?" She asked, looking at me blankly. "You already know I don't fuck wit' you. So what you in my face for?" I responded. I had absolutely no patience right now, especially with her. It was the beginning of 4th period and I was ready to go. But here she comes, bringing her unneeded and unwanted presence.

"Here." She holds out a flyer for a kickback tonight. "It's at my friend's house, the address is at the bottom." She added, I sighed. She looked at me with pleading eyes, I could tell she wanted her friend back, but she had made some scars that will never heal. "I'll think about it." I said, taking the flyer. She smiled at me and I gave her a half smile. "Well.. I hope you can make it." She said, trying to make conversation. "Yeah." I mumbled, hearing the warning bell ring. I huffed and walked to my class which was around the corner.

I walked into a empty house, I threw my bag onto the counter and opened it up. I pulled out my folder and the flyer just happened to come out with it. I picked it up and pulled out my phone. I facetimed my bestfriend Alexus. She picked up on the third ring. "Hey shawtyy." She exclaimed, dragging out her words. I rolled my eyes, smiling at her.

Alexus was almost opposite of me, she was very animated, content and rebellious. But we were similar in ways, we were both outspoken, goofy and persuasive. We could always get what we wanted. However, that's why we're bestfriends, we balance each other out. I don't know what I would do without her.

"You tryna come to this kickback with me tonight? I need some fun in my life." I said chuckling. "I know that's right, but yeah of course. But only if you gon' come scoop me." She replied, looking at me with her eyebrows raised. "Girl, I wasn't gonna let you drive anyways," I exclaimed "Who knows what you gon' get into tonight." She looked at me and squinted her eyes. "Whatever girl, don't be coming for me like that, before I whoop your ass." I returned a eye roll playfully. I bust out laughing we were too much.

We talked for about a couple hours before I decided to start getting ready, the kickback started at 9. It was almost 7:30. After my shower, I decided on wearing a dark grey long sleeved dress with black platform sandals. I straightened my hair only curling my bangs. Right when I finished putting on my makeup, it was going on 8:30. I threw a $20 bill, lipstick and my charger into my black clutch. I walked to the door, grabbing my keys. I walked out and locked the door. I got in my car, and hooked my phone up to my Bluetooth, playing Foreva by Cardi B.

I rapped along to the song as I drove down the street to Alexus' house. I hope a bitch don't start some shit tonight, I ain't been out in a while and all I wanna have is fun.
