Lana Prince is only one of the hottest girls of senior year.

There isn't much girls in Brookridge High that fall under the category, hottest. Of course, there's Veronica Rivera, and Jennifer Dudges. Yet, Brookridge was a fairly small town, so there wasn't typically any 17 year old girls with model sculptured faces walking down the stain-dripped hallway, with rusting lockers that seemed almost centuries old.

So it was obvious, that Lana, would draw much attention to a ghost town. She had money, so it seemed, by the expensive pearls wrapped around her tanned neck. She had a certain sticky friendliness to her, that could even lure in a stray cat. She was a radiating beam of sunlight brought in from the gods, even.

Lana, herself, didn't want to bring in her old personality to this new school.

But, it's mid-day through the first week of school, and everyone treats her just like New York did...as if she's really worth something. It almost raises her impaired self-esteem. You may be thinking, why a girl described so outstandingly beautiful have low self-image?

Lana Prince is not a perfect girl. She's far from it, and she absolutely, definitely must not let one person know in this damned high school. She absolutely, definitely must not trust, nor get close, to anyone. And she absolutely, definitely must not get a boyfriend.

Lana is 17, and she's never had a boyfriend. It's unbelievable-any boy takes one glance at her and she's a walking dream. Legs going as long as miles, tan skin that was soaking in the sun in it's prime hours, a smile so sweet like it was dipped in maple syrup.

Yet, Lana cannot get a boyfriend. She's had more than plenty of chances, with bad boys with dashing charm and shy boys who blush whenever she gives them a look in their direction.

Lana is not as perfect as everyone treats her, and she's not as perfect as she portrays herself. As they say, do not judge a book by their cover.

and do not trust the most gorgeous book on the shelf either.
