Imagine #7- Hayes Grier

"Chloe!" Mr Hampshire shouted across the class, "what did I just say?"
"Something boring..." I replied not giving a crap about history.
Hayes laughed and gave me a high five.
"You think it's funny?" Mr Hampshire asked, "Detention, both of you, after school!"
We pretended that we were upset by it but obviously we weren't. Me and Hayes are always in detention together, that's how we got to know each other better. I think he's really cute but he's the popular kid at school so I don't think he will feel the same about me.
School was over and me and Hayes made our way to the detention room. There was only us two in the room so we sat at tables next to each other.
"You guys know the drill," Mrs Haynes said, "No talking, no passing notes, no eating drinking or listening to music. Do I make myself clear?"
Me and Hayes nodded and as she was focused on the computer, we got out our phones to text each other. After all, she never said we couldn't text.

Me- Hey :D

Hayes;)- Hey ;)

Me- Whatcha doing? :D

Hayes;)- Same thing you are, duh! lmao :D

Me- Lmao :D

Hayes;)- anyway, you free after school Friday?;)

Me- yeah, why?;)

Hayes;)- Well maybe we could hang out, maybe go to the mall or cinemas or something, how does that sound?;)

Me- sounds great!;)

"Okay, hour's up! you can now leave!" Mrs Haynes said as me and Hayes left the room.
"So," Hayes was nervous, "You definitely up for Friday?"
"Of course!" I replied.
"Good," Hayes kissed me on the cheek, "see you then."
Hayes walked off. Did Hayes Grier, the popular kid, really just kiss me and ask me to hang out with him? I must be dreaming but if I am dreaming, I never want to wake up...
