To my beautiful girlfriend,
I can't believe it's been a year since you agreed to date me. I still remember that day so clearly. The way my heart felt like it was gonna rip out of my chest because it was beating so quickly, the way your face lit up when I asked you out, the long hug we had that I had been waiting for for so long. Yes, I did just say that I had been waiting ages just to hug you. I had been so nervous to even say hello to you since I first lay eyes on you. I would have to calm myself down just before I would walk over to you. You made me feel that way. You made me, one of the most confident people in the world, nervous to talk to you. I knew if you were able to make me nervous, then I truly did love you. I love every little single detail about you. The way your hair naturally waves and sits perfectly, the way your eyes gleam when you're happy, the flawless smile you have, the fact that you don't put on a fake laugh like everyone else, as a matter of fact, you're nothing like anyone else. I love the fact you don't give a flying monkey about what anyone else thinks about you and you will never change for anyone.
I know it's only been a year since we started dating but it has truly been the best year of my life. We never spent every single moment together but that made the times we spent together that extra bit special. I hope that one year, will become two years and we will be together for as long as we shall live. Wait, scrap that, I want to be with you even when we are no longer alive on earth. I love you so much and I could never live without you.
I hope you feel the same about us as I don't know what I would do if you ever walked away from me. I would probably stay at home, locked in my room, watching Netflix whilst eating cookie dough ice cream like they do in all the tv shows. I don't need to worry about having to do that though, because I know you love me as much as I love you.
So here's to many more years of hopefully being together.
