Katar's POV

I missed all the action. Apparently, Ratchet or new Ratchet decided to go face off against my brother Megatron and failed and apparently he told Optimus off. I would have paid to see that. I laughed my head off when Arcee told me this and everyone else didn't think it was funny. We decided to tell Ratchet what he tried to do because he said he only remembers throwing Bulkhead and telling Optimus off and fighting Megatron. "You fought me and threw me throw the wall" Bulkhead explains. "You also tried to take on Bumblebee and asked me 'hows it humming'" Arcee says " I really did that, I'm sorry but that doesn't explain small bruise on my face and I know Megatron's hand isn't this size" Ratchet says and everyone looks at me and I shrug "I could have killed him but I didn't, by the way, try that stunt again and I'll kill you" I threaten and point at Ratchet "what did I do to get her mad?" Ratchet asks " you tried to kiss her and she punched you," Arcee and Bulkhead said at the same time. " sounds like a nightmare" he mumbles " you're telling me" I mumble as well. " Katar you're coming with me on patrol," Arcee says changing the subject. " I can't promise I won't take off," I say walking toward the exit with her. "that is why I will accompany you both" Prime says walking beside Arcee. "Loveliness" I sarcastically say with a fake smile. "You'll be fine, come on," she said and we transformed. Prime took lead and Arcee and I were side by side behind Optimus.

Bumblebee's POV

As Optimus, Arcee, and Katar left I couldn't help but think of why I have Katar's name on my wrist and how it got there and how do I remove it. I asked Raf for advice and he told me to ask Ratchet so that's what I'm doing today hopefully without any interruptions. "Hey Bee, what you doing today?" Bulk asks me patting me on the back. "not much just wanted to talk to Ratch for a minute" I say and he says " haha I don't think you want to disturb him" he says looking at Ratchet working on something. "I normally wouldn't but this is important," I say and walk up to Ratchet. "Hey Ratchet, you busy?" I said poking his shoulder "I am but I know you won't go away so what would you like Bumblebee?" he asks not turning around. "It's about Katar." I say and look at my wrist then the ground "yes-yes what about her?" he says looking into some science thing. "Her name somehow showed up on my wrist one day," I say and Ratchet quickly stood up straight and turned around and said "what? let me see" he says grabbing my wrist and examines it carefully. "I haven't seen this in eons," he says surprised. He touched his name."Ratchet what is it?" I ask. "I can't say for it's true because I will need to examine Katar," he says letting go of my wrist. "If I get you Katar then will you tell me?" I ask. "I suppose but I know you won't like it," he says and gets back to what he was doing. "Ratchet please don't tell the others about this," I say looking around the room. " I won't," he says "great," I say before leaving.

I walk back to my room because there is no one else to talk too. Bulk went to get Miko who got suspended for whatever she did this time, and Ratchet is working on something. The one person I don't get along with at base, her name pops up on my wrist. I don't understand. I glance over at the clock and it's almost 4:00 pm. "scrap I'm going to be late to pick up Raf from school" I say before I dash out the door and I tell Ratchet I'm going to pick up Raf and possibly Jack to considering Arcee is out with Optimus and Katar. I transform and drive away.

I arrive at the school, under the tree as normal, Jack and Raf were talking until they spotted me and got in. Jack was in back and Raf in shotgun. I will never understand why humans call the passengers' seat 'shotgun'. Once they both were buckled I drove away and Raf asked me"hey Bee did you ask Ratchet about the thing?" "what thing?" Jack asked.  "nothing, tell Jack it's not important," I say turning a corner. "Um, what?" Jacks asks in confusion. Raf told him what I said. Then we all went silent.  

We arrived back at base and I let the kids out then transformed and I noticed Arcee, Optimus and Katar are back and Ratchet is talking to Katar or scanning her arm. I knew what he was doing and I tried to wait for everyone to do something so I could approach Ratchet without a crowd. I decided to race with Raf for a bit. 

Hours later. it was time for the kids to go home. Miko goes to Bulkhead and Jack goes to Arcee and I realized this is my chance to talk to Ratchet. "Katar you're taking Raf home," I tell her."Thanks for asking" she sarcastically said. "You okay Bee?" Raf asks looking worried, "I'm fine I just don't feel like driving" I lie giving Raf a look. Raf nodded understanding. I watch them all leave. 

I approach Ratchet. "did you figure it out?" I ask. "Yes I did," Ratchet said. I stare at him.  "You aren't going to like this". "Say it" I mumble. "You and Katar are destined sparkmates" he explained.

"It's an old Cybertronian trick. Soulmates get their soulmate's name on their wrist. I haven't seen it happen in years of course, but I guess Primus knew you two would never know you were soulmates" Ratchet explained. My optics grew in disbelief. 

"Bumblebee you don't look too good," Ratchet said and I fainted.

Yea, when smelting pits freeze over.
