Floaroma Ribbon

Celeste

She had been looking at the map. "We either take the route to Oreburgh city which is known for its mining or take the route to Floaroma Town and that's known for its flowers. Hmm not very hard to pick is it ? Floaroma Town it is !" Maybe they might see some good pokemon their that she would like.

Packing her stuff the two headed to Route 204. It was a charming looking path and as they got deeper Umbreon stopped and tensed. Looking the pokemon's way she saw a Shinx. Smirking she brought out a poke ball and ordered her pokemon to do a Quick Attack. Once weaken did she throw the ball. As the two waited the ball flashed red.

"Yes, good job Umbreon," she praised. Tucking the new pokemon in her bag the two continued their journey. As they continued and made their way up a hill the two spotted a Cherrim in the sun. Smiling she sent out Umbreon to bite the grass type and ended up successfully catching it. Feeling great the two made their way to the town but noticed a ghost mansion. She had seen a few Haunter nearby.

Uninterested, the two made their way to the town. After handing over her poke balls to nurse Joy then did the two explore and challenge a few grass type trainers. Ninetails had made quick work of them with Flamethrower. They had gotten a very good amount of money for winning.

Now that she and her pokemon had some practice time battleing it was time to sign in for the contest. She was getting her second ribbon.

She had all ready decided her outfit, a dark ribbon, flower and lace lolita dress. Buneary would be her entry since it was so cute and confident. She had picked out a heart seal for it and planned the moves. They had practiced at the Eterna Forest.

Much Later

The girl, Dawn. Her pacharisu had a case of stage fright and was running brainlessly in a panic. Looser, she thought as she watched. Her turn was next so she watched the newbie's performance. A poffin, she has to do that to get its attention, lame. The squirrel-like pokemon launched its self in the air to catch its treat.

The crowd roared at it. When the two finished she walked fore ward. "How embarrassing it must have been for you. You certainly don't belong here," She commented. A sad look on her face the girl walked away at a faster past.

Smiling charmingly she shouted, "Buneary, time to take over the stage !" As the cute pokemon emerged it scattered the hearts. "Cute Kiss ! Ice beam !" She yelled.

As hearts appeared the little bunny froze them and used her powerful ears to destroy them causing bits of ice to scatter. Motioning her hand she yelled, "Ice Beam !" Now swirls of ice were created and Buneary was sliding down them. "Now use Bounce !" Obeying instantly Buneary jumped in the air and landed downward with enough force to shatter the ice into little particles.

As the crowd roared the two bowed.

Several others did their entry's but she was not impressed. Jessilina, this strange woman came on stage and brought out a Seviper. "Smoke seal, not bad idea," she commented as she sucked on her sucker.

In the background that Dawn girl who had been mopping and moaning about her performance got into a argument with some one she seemed to know. Trying to ignore the two she saw that Jessilina had her pokemon wrap around her.

Now that kid Kenny and his Alahkazam came. Hidden power and Shadow Ball and so many other moves. She had so many ideas for her Misdreavus.

Dawn was having the 'No need to worry' chanting. Walking over to the girl and her two friends she said frostily,'A piece of advice, its embarrassing to loose your cool in public.' The taller boy looked at her and ran up to her. "What beauty ! I am Brock and you are ?"

A little weird-ed out but she kept her cool. "Celeste Woods." Seeing no need to continue the conversation she looked back at the screen. Shutting them out she thought of possible combos she could use. As the contestants were selected she saw that: Kenny, the girl Dawn, Jesselina and herself were going on to the next round.

She got paired up with someone else. As she lisened to the two pick their pokemon, both water. Guess Shinx is getting some exercise today, she thought.

First was Jessilina and Dawn. As they sent their pokemon out, a Dustox and Piplup. Jessilina put up a good fight but Dawn ended up winning in the end. If she had not have use Bide then she might have lost this match.

In the end it was her, Dawn and Kenny left. As she watched the battle between evolution's she saw some good ideas. Milotic was going to learn how to use Whirlpool like that. Being on the whirlpool, she had made a good decision to come here.

In the end it seemed she would be facing Dawn. Time to crush the newbie, she thought.

As she walked to the stage she drew out her poke ball. "Shine Brilliantly !" In a burst stars poured out of the poke ball and electricity danced out of it as well. Already Dawn's point lowered. "Shinx use Charge !" A ray of light covered the little Pokemon's body. "Thunder now !" It hit on directly.

Piplup seemed to be weakening. "Now Bolt Tackle !" and with that quick move the novices were finished off. Smirking she accepted her ribbon. "This is your second ribbon, right ? we are expecting great things from you." Picking up the simple orange ribbon she looked at it and placed it in her case.

The girl Dawn seemed to be taking her loss very hard. Not bothering to give the girl another glance she walked away. Umbreon followed her silently.

Much Later

It was all most time to go.

Satisfied she let all of her pokemon out to feed them. The new two seemed to be doing okay and played along with each other. As it got darker she had all of her pokemon return and headed back to the pokemon center. She had looked over her map and this time she was going to Eterna City.

It was a old city with a  cycle road that was close to Hearthome city. Their was another contest their and she planned to win and she had heard the gym leader liked to compete in contest as well. She knew Fantna who used ghost type.

But the thing was she would have to go in Mount Coronet.  Getting herself ready and stocked up for Eterna Forest.

Eterna Forest was full of all kinds of pokemon, she had caught her female buneary that she had caught and had competed early in the contests. The trainers did not really bother her or Umbreon. When she made her way to the clearing she saw a purple haired boy with a Elekid. Walking up to the boy she said, "Would you like to battle one on one ?"

He looked at her coldly but nodded. "Shinx, time for battle !" Her little Shinx came out and uttered a determined, "Shinx !"

 "Quick Attack !" the boy ordered as she yelled, "Bite !" The attack made the pokemon flinch. "Quick Attack and Crunch !" she ordered.

Following her orders her Shinx K.O the electric type. "Return," she ordered.

"Thanks for the battle, Shinx needed it. I am Celeste and you are ?" She asked. "Paul," He said as he walked away. Smiling slightly she walked away to the town. First a visit to nurse Joy then she went to the cycle shop to get a bike. The cycle road was quite, she had put Umbreon back in her poke ball.

Mount Coronet was tricky, well would have been for anyone except her. Umbreon lit the way, the cave had a lot of rocks in the way and she had to bring out Milotic so they could get across the water. The cave mostly had zubats and Psyducks. Not much of a threat so she took it easy.

When she got out she took the bridge and made it to her destination.
