Becoming Hungry (Vampire!Zarc x F!Reader)

Zarc and (y/n) have been together for a while now. However the female did notice some strange patterns about him. When he eats, he eats very little. He eats noodles and fruits and all. But (y/n) always questioned him, until she learnt not to do it anymore. Zarc will eat for (y/n) though he often drinks water to suffice himself. (y/n) was always worded for him. So she forced him to eat more and more. Zarc insists her not to but he did to please her. (y/n) honestly thought her cooking was bad or something like that.

Though when night came, (y/n) fell asleep next to her lover without a care in the world. (y/n) would always cuddle his body, he always said he was cold anyways. She always seemed to warm up him ever so pale skin. Zarc always pulled his lover close to him, he wanted no one to be near her. He only wanted her to be with him. However, this was time Zarc would roam. He would make himself throw up all of the human food he ate. He then would rule the night, striking fear into others.

Zarc would lure his victims into the darkness. He would then strike them, sucking their blood until they run dry. No blood would be coursing through their veins. They would be there, dry and already decaying. (y/n) didn't know that her lover was doing this. She just thought her lover was a man with a eating disorder. (y/n) always dreaded on the mysterious man who killed. Though Zarc promised her, nothing would happen.

(y/n) never was scared when he was around her. Though when he leaves, she gets terrified. Zarc would always like to take walks, now (y/n) is going with him. Every vampire murder keeps on getting more gruesome. She hated the thought of her or Zarc being the next victim. Zarc wishes he could tell her, but he can't. What if she reports him? He'll be a monster. Zarc wasn't able to eat now, (y/n) always wants to be around him. Even when he gets up in the night, (y/n) wakes up. She pulls him back in bed.

"Don't leave me..." (y/n) whispered.

Zarc kissed her forehead, "I would never think of it."

(y/n) drifted back into sleep, Zarc didn't want to leave. He didn't want to feel such strong guilt. Zarc is becoming hungry, he's starving for food. He needs the blood in his system. Zarc needs to get his nutrient. He doesn't want to end up hurting his lover. She'll get hurt or worse, die. Zarc wouldn't be able to live if that were to happen. He couldn't lose the person he cared about. Though he had to do something.

Instincts took over. In the early morning, (y/n) was doing her laundry, as every morning. Zarc woke up late, he got up and wobbled around. (y/n) saw him and got him. She was about to say good morning. But he latched onto her neck. (y/n) gasped and shivered. She felt the blood being drained from her.

"Zarc..." (y/n) whimpered. She soon fainted from shock. Zarc caught her.

He spoke, "I'm so sorry..."
