Zodiaque High and truth or dare

Chapter 1: Taurus and Cancer meet

"Dad, are we there yet?" I said, excitedly
"No" he sighed
"Cancer, please don't ask again. You do know the answer anyway." my mom said, obviously dissapointed.
"Ok" I giggled a bit, knowing that I just went a little too far but I can't help it.

We're driving to our new house and that means new school and new friends. I wonder what will happen but you never know actually. All I know it's gonna be fun. Well except for the schoolwork.

After two hours of staying in car, we finally reached the house and it looks great. I quickly ran inside to see how it looks. I walked everywhere. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms one in each floor, a classy kitchen, a cute dining for four even - we were only three - and a huge living room.

"Are you done?" mom asked, with her arms crossed and a smile
"Yeah" I giggled like a child
"Well, how about you see the streets, walk around while me and your dad fix the stuff in the house?" she asked
"Ok, mom" I said running out like a little kid

I walked along the sidewalk, looking around until I saw a coffee shop nearby. I guess I could have some food after the long drive.

I wal- almost running inside. I went in line, behind a guy who was a bit taller than me. He had brown hair like mine but my hair is darker. I looked at the menu on the top of the counter to choose what to buy. I guess I'll chose a plain-sprinkled donut and a cup of tea.

The guy in front of me walked away with a tray of three donuts and a large cup of .......milk? I couldn't really tell but it was white. I looked up at him quickly scanning his features. He had brown eyes but, again, mine was darker.

I saw him walk all the way to a table. I didn't know I was still looking at him until......

"Uhh....... ms. would you like to order something cuz' I don't have all day and there are other customers waiting." the lady behind the counter said, gesturing to the line of people behind me.
"Yes. Sorry for that." I apologized with a smal chuckle
"It's okay. Now what do you like?" she asked with a smile

I told her my order and paid and after a couple of minutes, I turned around with a tray in my hands. I walked to the empty table behind the guy I saw a while ago but just because the cafe was full and that was the only free table not because I say him and all that.

Anyway, when I was directly behind him, he didn't notice. He finished eating so he stood up hitting my tray and both the donut and the tea fell on the floor.

"Oops! I'm so so sorry!" he said, grabbing tissues to wipe the floor with
"No no it was my fault." I said helping him before the janitor came
"It's okay kids. I got it." he said, leaning the mop beside a table before picking up the donut and the cup.

We both stood up. He wiped his hands on the tissues he got while I just shook the dirt off.

"Here" he said, handing me a tissue
"thanks" I smiled as I took it

I could feel his eyes looking at me so I looked at him and he to turn his gaze to the counter.

"Look, I'll buy you another one." he said
"No, you don't have to." I shooked my head, smiling
"I insist after trashing... " he looked at the janitor who was finished cleaning
"your food" he smiled

He walked back to the counter. I followed him as he ordered. He ordered the exact same thing I ordered. How did he knew? Or he just recognize it after all it fell down.

"uhh... may I ask what's your name?" he asked turning his glance to me.
"It's Cancer" I smiled
"Here you go" the lady said giving the tray again so the guy carried it
"So what's yours?" I asked
"Taurus, I'm Taurus." he said, a little nervous at first but he hid it with a smile

He walked to an empty table and put down the tray. He sat down and I did the same. We were at both sides of the table.

"so..... are you new here?" he asked while placing the tray in front of me
"Yeah and you live here?" I said, asking another question
"Yes..... " he said

We both fell in an awkward silence, both looking the other way. I began to eat the donut he gave me. I still can't believe I'm eating with a stranger. It feels really.... weird. He glanced back to me and began to laugh.

"What?" I gave him a confused look
"well......you.... uh" he chuckled, gesturing to his mouth.
I placed my hand on my mouth and felt the donut's icing
"hahaha...... very funny" I said sarcastically, wiping my mouth
"Well you missed the spot." he smiled, grabbing a tissue and giving it to me
"thanks" I said, wiping my mouth again
"your welcome" he said "Anyway, what school do you go to? Zodiaque high?" he asked
"What? How did you know?" I exclaimed after finishing both my food
"No way! That's my school too!" he laughed as I took a sip from my drink "Guess, we're going to the same school, Cancer."
"Yeah.... I guess so, Taurus." I smiled

Taurus walked me back to my house after. We just talked for the whole walk. He also told me the other places here.

"uhh.. Goodbye, Cancer" he waved as we reached my new house "Maybe we can do this again sometime?"
"Yeah, see ya, Taurus" I waved back and went back in the house closing the door behind me

I can't believe I just walked a stranger who actually is going to be my classmate. She's really cute. Well, she is really nice too.

I chuckled at my thoughts and walked away.

I can't wait to see you again, Cancer.
