When the door opens, a small crew of people in masks walk in. I step in front of the others, trying to shield them from any bullets. A man in a rabbit mask, levels a machine gun at us. "Sky, it's so great to finally meet you! I might just explode with joy...and bloodlust!"
"Y-You don't h-have to do th-this." I stutter. Is this where I die?! How could people do this?! No... not people, monsters. There's a click, and I realize what he's doing. Recording us! The bastard!
"Imagine how many views I'll get; Killing Skymedia. I'll surpass you!" He raises the gun to my head, and I tense. The thing my thoughts drift to is odd...Jess. Did I love her? I might have. I hope she-a shot rings out, but I'm not dead! I glance up, and I see the man, crumpled on the floor, a bullet in his head. I look up to see our savior, and find Jess! She has a pistol in her hand, and she pockets it.
"Shoot her!" Someone yells.
"Oh you won't shoot me." She states calmly. I'm too stunned to speak, and Ross beats me to it.
"What are you doing here?!" He asks, but then quiets down. "Y-You s-saved us."
"Why wouldn't we shoot you little girl?!" A burly man asks. I resist the urge to run in front of her, and shield her from the bullets as well. A sudden movement would not help. She reaches into her pocket, and pulls out...oh my Irene, is that a grenade?!
"Because I'm not afraid to take you down with me." My eyes widen in surprise, she doesn't look like she's bluffing! The men take a step back.
"J-Jess, what're y-you doing?!" I manage to hiss.
"Saving your asses." She whispers from the corner of her mouth. Then, she pulls the pin.
