Ace's POV
I snap myself out of my thoughts when I suddenly heard a bell go off. Checking the time I see the pizzeria had closed roughly 40 minutes ago. 'Well...I guess I should go see what Foxy wanted me to go see in the main stage. Wait...what if this is a trap? Well...they did take care of me while I was injured...it could have just been a trick to try to gain my trust...ugh this is too confusing!'
"Then maybe you should quit doubting us, Ace."
I quickly spin around in my swivel chair and look up. I come almost face-to-face with Goldie.
"Would you quit doing that?! It pisses me off like no other when you sit there and randomly appear everywhere, reading my thoughts! It's annoying as hell...and I'm not doubting myself! I'm thinking of plausible reasons why you all think it's a great idea to keep me here when supposedly you tried to kill me on my first 2 nights here." I yell angrily at Goldie, sho just sat there grinning with his animatronic smile.
"Well, then why would you assume it's a trap if Bonnie was the one to pick you up and take you back here? Why do you think Mary helped heal you so you would recover quicker if this was a trap? Sure yeah some of us have trust issues, especially for the fact that we've been through so many nightguards. Young and old, might I add." Goldie says. I could almost hear the smirk in his voice at that.
"Well excuse me for falsely thinking you guys were just weird, kids' fandom bases that had a few wires loose. And that's why you moved around. I had no idea you all were full-blown killers!" At this point I had stood up and gotten close to Goldie's face, angrily spitting my words out at him.
I suddenly feel myself being slammed into the right side door forcefully. Goldie had a hand around my neck, not necessarily squeezing tightly, but also not holding it lightly either.
"Don't. You. Ever. Call. Us. Killers. Again. Got it? Otherwise, I might have to bend Mary's rules about keeping you safe and unharmed..." Goldie lets go of me. I kneel down in front of the door, still weak from my injuries, coughing a bit from the pressure.
Goldie turns and starts melting into a shadow again.
"Go to the Main Stage, there's something there for you..." Goldie mutters, fully disappearing into the shadows.
'Well...that was fun I guess...' I rub my neck, feeling a slight bruise beginning to form. I bent down to lift the door open but it wouldn't budge. I noticed the buttons against the door were lit up. It made sense as it was after hours. Pushing the button the door opens and I walk out of the office down the hallway.
I stop at the corner of the hallway and I see the animatronics all there. I shake my head, sighing softly. This had to be the absolute weirdest job I had ever picked up...I mean talking animatronics? Magic? Prophecies? 'Psh...this is stupid...I should just go home...they don't honestly care about me...' I turn around and walk back down the hallway towards the kitchen. I hear laughter coming from the Main Stage but I ignore it, keeping my head down I push open the doors of the kitchen and walk inside.
At first, I thought I was alone until I hear Chica humming by the oven. She pokes her head up and looks at me.
"Oh! Hey Ace, I didn't see you there. What's up?"
I hesitate to answer her but softly sighing I sit down at the Island in the middle of the kitchen.
"Not much..." I say simply, looking down at the counter. I hear Chica sigh softly and walk around the counter. I suddenly feel two arms wrap around me and hug me gently. I tense and nearly yelp. I jump back in surprise, putting my hands up in front of me in defense. Chica looks at me with a sad smile. She turned around and started mixing something. Taking the chance I edge my way towards the back door of the kitchen.
"Sorry...I guess you're not used to us yet. I was rushing things a little..." Chica glanced up at me noticing I was edging my way towards the door.
"Oh before you go, Ace." She walks over to the fridge and grabs a tupperware covered plastic wrap and hands it to me.
"Welcome to Freddy's Ace. I hope you sleep okay tonight..." Chica says turning back to the stovetop she starts mixing something again.
I take the dish in silence then I gently push the door open. I walk over to my car and climb into the front seat setting the dish down on the space next to me. I sit there for a minute, my hands on the steering wheel but my actions froze. 'Why would she do something like this for me...I'm nobody...and I haven't been the nicest person to them...' I finally clear my thoughts and grab my keys, putting them into the ignition and driving off.
'What is going on with me...' I think to myself while driving. 'Ever since I walked into that pizzeria...I've felt different, almost like I have a connection to the place...but I can't figure out why. I feel like there's a stronger connection from Mary more than the others. It's almost like I met her before or somethin- Holy shit!' I swerve out of the lane I was in, seeing a person standing there...or so I thought. When I looked in the review mirror the person was gone.
I breathe heavily trying to slow my heart rate and I calmly think about this...I noticed something off about the person...was it just my imagination or was the person I saw purple...
