"I'm not telling you and there's no way you can make me!" A stern voice says sprinting away from the person trying to tackle them and demand answers.

"But Acccceeee you have to! I'm not gonna stop until you do! Don't make me do it the hard way!" An excited female voice says while running down the hallway after the closed-off Nightguard.

With a sharp turn Ace slides into the office and shuts the West Hall door then does the same for the East door in case a certain Marionette got any ideas.

Ace sighs softly leaning against the door her adrenaline burst still pumping through her veins. "Well, that was something..." Ace said under her breath.

"Quite a sprint for you to not tell her something." A certain bear's voice said in front of Ace.

Ace raised her head up and looked at the owner of the voice. "And what's it to you Goldie? I didn't want her prying into my personal affairs. Is that so wrong?"

"Well in a way it is but if it's you everything is personal so it doesn't matter anyway." Goldie says smirking. Ace rolls her eyes at Goldie's comment then sits down in the office chair. Ace picks up the tablet and looks around the Pizzeria seeing what everyone was up too. She was doing this out of curiosity but also because she knew several people could read her mind. She didn't want them to know about her walk with Foxy and what she talked to him about-

"Hm? What did you and Foxy sneak off and do?" Goldie puts his hands on the back of the office chair and tilts it back to where Ace was looking up at him but at an upside-down angle.

"U-Uh....nothing."

"You should know better than to try to lie to me Ace, I can see through it."

"...it's none of your business Goldie and also stay out of my head will you?"

"Nope don't think I will. I'm curious now."

"I hate you..."

"No you don't, you just like saying that to sound tough and like you don't care."

"Ugh...still..."

Goldie chuckles then sets Ace's chair back upright. "Don't keep these shut all night you hear? I'd rather not have to go fix the fuses again..." And with that Goldie disappeared. Ace sighed and rolled herself over to one door and presses the button then does the same to the other. Not even a second after she had opened the West Hall door she got tackled out of her chair and onto the tiled floor. All she saw was a black and white blur talking very quickly.

"Slow down Mary I can't understand you!" Ace says glad she didn't hit her head on the tile.

"I heard that you and Foxy left the pizzeria! Why? Please please please tell me Ace!"

Ace looks at Mary with a deadpan expression. She didn't know how Mary found that out but she didn't want to give her any more information.

"Yeah we went outside but that's it. I don't know what you want from me, Mary."

Ace says before pushing the excited Marionette off of her.

"Acccceeee!"

"What Mary? I'm not telling you so you can stop asking. I really hate it when you and Goldie just pop into my head whenever you damn well want to! It's annoying and not to mention evasive. So cut it out okay?!"

Ace yelled angrily at Mary glaring at her from under her bangs. Her body was tense with her burning rage going through her. Mary looked down her body expressing a look of hurt then when Mary looked up at Ace her expression was blank.

"Evasive huh? Annoying? Well pardon me for just "reading your thoughts whenever I damn well want to" have you bet thought to consider maybe I don't have full control over it? Your thoughts speak louder than anyone else's! And I can't just "turn it off"."

Mary advanced toward Ace her voice laced with a calm tone that quickly grew more hostile and angry as she spoke. And to Ace, she noticed that Mary had grown a bit in height as she walked over to her. Ace stepped back until she felt the cool touch of the wall behind her press against her back. Mary now standing in front of Ace, she towered about a foot taller than her looking down at the Nightguard with a wave of unseen anger. Ace had never seen this side of Mary and to be frank Ace was scared of her.

"M-Mary look I'm sor-"

"Sorry? You're sorry?! You think that you can just do whatever the hell you want right? Well, news flash sweetheart...you can't. There are rules that need to be followed and words that are not to be said."

Mary raised one of her hands and before Ace could react Mary swung her hand in a downward motion just above Ace's eyebrows.

Ace's P.O.V
'It was like it happened in slow motion...out of the corner of my eye, I saw her hand raised like she was going to hit me then her hand came down. I tensed up closing my eyes tightly, then I felt a soft breeze go across my face, and the light of the office seemed to glow a little brighter. That's when time sped back up and I felt a slight weight being lifted off of my head...' I felt Mary's presence step back slightly hearing her gasp softly. I looked down raising a hand to my face slowly. When I looked up I slowly opened my eyes and looked at Mary. For the first time, I saw her clearly, no slightly blurry lines, no added dark tones. I actually saw her for the first time.

"A-Ace I um-"

I didn't say anything to her I looked down again covering my eyes with my right hand my left hand pressed against the wall I was cornered against.

"What have you done..."

It came off as more of a statement. Not a question. There wasn't a word to describe how I felt then. I hadn't felt like this in a long time, if possibly ever. I was exposed...no longer able to hide behind the shadows and mask of my past and everything I had gone through.

Mary tried reaching out to touch my shoulder but I flinched and hit her hand away.

"Don't touch me...don't talk to me just stay away from me!"

That's when I felt the tears building behind my eyes surface and fall. I ran past Mary. I ran blindly through the pizzeria nearly tripping over some chairs on the way out. I heard Bonnie call out to me but I ignored him. I ran past them all straight to the front door. I reached into my pockets for my eyes and shakily unlocked my car then got into it and drove off back to my house. Tears cascaded down my cheeks as I drove to my house.

I had too many thoughts running through my head as I tried figuring out what I was feeling. I got to caught up in my head that I didn't see the oncoming headlights...I didn't hear the honk of the horn blaring until the last second when I swerved back into my lane but a little too hard...I lost control of my car and drove right into a tree...then everything went silent...
