Chapter 4 The Chase

Ace's P.O.V

     I quietly slip through the shadows, watching my step as I go through the pizzeria. Checking my watch again I see it's 5:55 am.

     Slipping into the party room I don't see anyone at first. Then I hear heavy footsteps walking down the hallway so I slip underneath a table away from the doorway.

     I see a flash of purple in the doorway and I figure out it's Bonnie. He walks in and looks around, his crimson eyes scanning the room then he walks out. I crawl carefully out from underneath the table but I accidentally move a chair causing it to scrape against the floor...then I bumped into the table...then finally tripped over my own feet and fell onto the floor. "Shit..." I mumble/whisper to myself.

     The sound of running footsteps catches my attention and I quickly run over to the wall and blend into the shadows. I see Foxy walk into the room and I notice just how beat up his animatronic body looks. I freeze and I slow my breathing down seeing him turning and looking in my direction.

"I know you're in here Nightguard...so he might as well just come out...." I hear Foxy talk and it catches me off guard. His voice sounded a bit glitchy and he had a Pirates accent too.

Checking the time I see it's 5:58 am. I step away from the wall and out more towards the open.

I look towards Foxy keeping my hat tilted downwards though. I see Foxy's amber colored eye look directly at me and in a gaze as if he's trying to burn a hole through my head.

"You know this has been entertaining and all but sadly it'll have to come to an end..."

"Oh? And what makes ye say that lass?" Foxy says walking closer to me in an intimidating manner.

I hold my ground however and I keep talking.

"Well in exactly...20 seconds it will be the end of my shift and fortunately for me, that means I get to leave." I smirk and cross my arms looking at the animatronic fox in front of me. He was about two feet in front of me.

     Suddenly I am yanked forward and Foxy's hook is raised to hit my head but for some reason, he stops. He lowers his arm and looks closer to my face until the sound of the 6 am bell rings through the empty pizzeria. His grip on my jacket loosens and he walks backward as if automatically and starts walking back to his Cove.

     I shake my head in disbelief and walk out of the Party Room and back to the front of the pizzerias Glancing at the stage I see Freddy glaring at me and the same happens to Bonnie. I smile sarcastically and wave at them. Then I go to my car and drive home.
