"Hey where were you yesterday mindy? It was so boring!" Kandy whined.

"I was busy?" I said trying to sound convincing.

"you were busy with what?" She stare at me like a puppy as I was putting my stuff in my locker.

"Hey look it's Travis!" Kandy fixed her hair and turned around like a hyper puppy on drugs.

Travis was this popular jock that Kandy had a crush on. Everyone knew she had a crush on him but him. He too busy with the cheerleaders. If you ask me he's a jerk but Kandy can't see that. I guess I'll only step in when he actually realizes she exist.

"Hey stranger." As I was closing my locker Justin was there.

"Hey."

"Where were you yesterday? I was looking for you all day." He looked sad and disappointed but of well.

"I was busy with stuff."

"oh." He didn't seem any happier.

I know what you're thinking I told him I didn't have a boyfriend then slept with Dylan constantly at that. But Dylan is my ex boyfriend. I've known him since I was little and I live with him and all of his jack ass friends. My mom died when I was 14 and my dad wasn't capable of taking care of me because I looked too much like my mother. So Dylan was there and he took me in and treated me well. He was always there for me and I guess you can say we're friends with benefits. It's on and off with us but we aren't dating. At least what I know of.

First period AP Lit. With Justin.

"Okay class today we are gonna partner up and work on Shakespeare. There will be a research project due next tuesday. The partners will be Jack and Amy...............Sarah and Frank...........Justin and Mindy."

After I heard my name with Justin I blanked out. I could see Sarah so upset. She got someone who wasn't her "boyfriend" and it was worse that I got him.

"Okay class sit next to your partners." We all got up and moved.

"Don't you dare try ANYTHING on him!" Sarah whisper yelled as she walked past me. I could help but grin.

I loved getting under that girls skin. She didn't deserve Justin and neither did I but honestly I was a better choice. She was just a fake bitch that he didn't need.

As soon as I got over to where Justin was I noticed Sarah was staring at us. So I hugged him before we sat down and looked back over to her.

"You are going to die!" Sarah mouthed.

"What? It was just a innocent hug." I mouthed back then stuck my tongue out at her.

"Very mature!" Sarah mouthed.

"Never said I was mature sweetheart." then I turn away from her and began talking about our project and who would do what and where.

After school in the parking lot me and Justin were discussing the project. We decided that we would meet at my house this afternoon because his mom has some fancy club thingy. I personally think this is gonna be interesting. No one has ever been over my house since I was like well 14. I'm interested in how this is gonna play out.

"So are you gonna follow behind us?"

"Um actually I have to stop home first so um if I could um get your address?" I laughed at how nervous he was. It was kinda cute seeing him squirm.

"Cute." he smiled and then I wrote my address on a sticky note.
