he finds everything so much clearer on a new day.
october is known for when the leaves really turn brown, and everything really becomes scarier. the january sitting across from him doesn't really seem to fit this at all. the january infront of him is the refreshing welcome of a brand new year, where everyone pledges to make this one the best one yet. january is classed as winter, which seems so strange to him because how can winter carry through into the next year? but, miraculously, the remains of what came before cling to january, and offer the doorway to spring.
the january across from him seems to fit the bill exactly.
everything is so much clearer in january.
