Fight Isn't Over

When the bus arrived at the school, everyone stood and began to make their way off the bus. With a huff, Katsuki ruffled (F/n)'s hair and nudged her. "Get up. We're here," He grumbled as she picked up her head. "Yeah, yeah, I'm moving..." (F/n) mumbled, rubbing her eyes as she stood up, moving forward and exiting the bus like the rest of the class. Katsuki followed her, muttering something under his breath as he did.

"I know it's been a long day," The detective said, looking at the class. "And we thank you for your cooperation and giving your statements. Please grab your bags and clothing from the classroom and get home safely." The students nodded before making their way to classroom 1-A.

"What a crazy day! I can't believe we got attacked by villains!" (F/n) exclaimed, stretching her arms out over her head as she continued to walk home. "Were you scared, Katsuki?" She turned her head to the boy next to her as he scoffed. "Hell no. They were weak as hell against me," He said, stroking his ego. (F/n) shook her head with a laugh. "My neck still hurts a bit from all the work my ribbons did. They only popped out a couple days ago, after all..." The ribbons swayed as she spoke, moving back and forth in the wind.

The two fell into silence as they walked. Katsuki would look over at (F/n), then back in front of him, then back at (F/n). He did this a few times before (F/n) snapped, "What is it?" Katsuki stared at her, surprised he was caught before looking away. "Nothin'." He mumbled under his breath, making (F/n) raise an eyebrow. "You obviously wanted to ask me something, Katsuki," (F/n) pressed, stopping when Katsuki did. "Katsuki?"

"Why did you protect me?"

(F/n) widened her eyes, confused. "What... Do you mean?" Katsuki turned around and looked her straight in the eye, and (F/n) couldn't look away. "Before you passed out. When that brain villain was coming towards me, All Might stepped in front of me. Everything went by too fast, so I couldn't tell, but you had pulled me out of the way and managed to protect All Might at the same time. Why?" The girl was rendered speechless. Why is he asking? Is he implying something? I'm so confused!

"If you're asking why I took the risk to help you and To- All Might, it's because I had the capability to," (F/n) explained slowly, her ribbons nodding in agreement. "Besides, why wouldn't I save people who are... I-Important... To me? That'd seem silly if I didn't!" She hastily added the last sentence with a forced smile. Katsuki immediately narrowed his eyes. "You stuttered," He stated, even though it was already obvious. (F/n) looked to the side, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "So? Everyone does that sometimes, you know..."

"First time I've heard from you. What are you hiding? You better tell me, dammit." Katsuki growled, lighting his right hand. (F/n) rolled her eyes. "How about no? I don't think you quite remember what I said yesterday... That I didn't fully trust you?" She crossed her arms, looking back at Katsuki. "I hope you know that still applies." It was obvious that her confident facade was not fooling Katsuki as he took a step closer to her. Instinctively, (F/n) took a step back. "Tell. Me. (F/n)." Katsuki growled, his palms igniting once more. With a frustrated sigh, (F/n) looked around before standing up straight.

"Fine. Want to know what I'm hiding? I-"

It was at that moment her phone rang. Surprised, (F/n) fumbled around in her bag before pulling the device out and answering. "He-" " OMG (F/N) ARE YOU ALRIGHT?! I HEARD WHAT HAPPENED!?" (F/n) held the phone an arm's length away for a few seconds before putting it back to her ear. "You don't have to yell , Emily. I'm fine..." She looked up to Katsuki and waved before quickly running off, speaking on the phone as she did. Confused and annoyed, Katsuki made his way home, still short of the answer he needed.
