You may actually be alone, safe inside your room under your bedcovers, or somewhere else. If I were there with you, right now, you would be surrounded. Surrounded by creatures, people, anything. That's how it always is.
When I opened my eyes and screamed, I saw a girl. She looked to be about twelve, long brown hair, a few inches shorter than me, she looked like she's still drying off from doing something wet, she's got many cuts, scars, has lots of blood stains on her as well as her clothing, she has a small nose that fits perfectly on her little frowning face, grey eyes that seem to bore right into my own soul, small feet with little dirty shoes to fit them, she seems to look very dirty, etc. she was right there, in my closet with me. It may have been dark, but I could see her as well as I could see an actual human being. My closet is six feet or so long, so there wasn't much space between us, and it's not like she's pressed up against the wall like I am. And she's staring. She's staring right at me, right into my eyes. She has an expression that seems to be a mix of boredom, depression, slight pity, and madness hidden right behind her eyes. She's a girl from a horror movie I watched with a friend. It may have not been scary, but this is. There's something else. In the movie there would be people that began to see this girl and/or her twin sister. Once they did they soon went crazy. They drowned themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if I did now considering how long I've been seeing them.
There's something to it though. Most everything bad has a catch. A little ray of light. Darkness can't be made without light. There seems to be a 'good' in this too.
